Brush cleaner and method of use
The present invention is directed to a brush cleaning device that thoroughly and efficiently cleans brushes. The brush cleaning device comprises a main body having a base, wherein the interior of the base is substantially bowl-shaped; an insert, have a gross agitation surface and a fine agitation surface, wherein the insert fits within the base in a manner that forms a plurality of cleaning solution wells, each cleaning well substantially isolated from one another; and a lid, wherein the interior of the lid is substantially bowl-shaped and wherein the lid may be secured to the base in a manner that prevents the leakage of any cleaning fluid held within the base.
Multi-head artist and make-up brush
A make-up brush system includes a mandrel having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a gripping surface for engagement with a hand of a make-up artist and the second end being shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with a plurality of make-up brushes. A plurality of make-up brushes is provided. Each of the plurality of make-up brushes includes a first end and a second end, the first end including a functional component of the make-up brush and the second end including a coupling member shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with the second end of the mandrel. The system also includes a case both supporting and sanitizing the various components of the present invention. The case includes a tray supporting the plurality of make-up brushes in accessible positions within the case.
Lateral support brush
A paint brush comprises an elongate handle having a proximal end and a distal end, a tuft of bristles having properties according to at least two distinct directions, and a ferrule. The bristles are arranged substantially parallel to an axial direction and the cross section of the tuft of bristles is in a plane that has a width in a lateral direction. One end of the handle is operatively associated and is in substantially longitudinal alignment with the tuft and the ferrule is adapted to surroundingly encircle and connect said handle to said tuft of bristles so as to support the bristles against splaying in the lateral direction and limit deflection of the width.
Paint puck
A circular paint puck is molded silicone or rubber with a diameter matching the bottom of a standard coffee cup or else a standard disposable paint mixing cup of 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz or 64 oz. The puck is a disk featuring cleaning surfaces on the top side and, on the bottom, suction cups for securing the puck to the bottom of the cup and preventing its moving during brush cleaning. A painter using the puck attaches it to the bottom of the brush-washing cup, fills the cup with water, and agitates paint brushes against the cleaning surfaces to clean them. The paint puck is made of flexible silicone rubber for economy, molding specialized surfaces, easy cleaning and easy removal from the cup. However, the silicone must have enough rigidity to provide a functional suction cup and for its cleaning surfaces to provide resistance to sticky, wet brush bristles covered in paint.
ARTISTS' BRUSH COVER
An artists' brush storage and protection device includes a storage unit having a plurality of storage compartments, each of the storage compartments including a cover with a paint well below the cover, the paint well defined in part by upstanding walls, an exterior one of the upstanding walls defining a recess with a resilient sealing member disposed therein. Each of the covers may be opened permitting access to the paint well or closed against the upstanding walls of the paint well and the sealing member. The storage unit may further include drawer slides and a palette slidable on the drawer slides relative to the storage unit to reveal or conceal the palette. When bristles of a paint brush are placed in the paint well, its handle rests upon the resilient sealing member which compresses around the handle when the cover is closed to provide a substantially air-tight seal.

System for hanging artists brushes and similar cylindrical implements
A system and method is provided whereby a mounting is configured for attachment to a paintbrush, wherein the paintbrush has a first end having bristles and a second end bristle free, a hanger having a first end is attached to said mounting cap and a second end having a hanging system for hanging said brush, and a support is configured for receiving said hanging system.
SOLID MARKING MATERIAL MELTING APPLICATOR WAND
Aspects herein relate to an applicator wand that is configured to melt a solid marking material and apply the melted marking material onto a receiving medium. Aspects of the applicator wand include a heating and melting element enclosed within an external casing, a receiving compartment configured to receive one or more solid marking materials, and an applicator tip for applying the melted marking material onto a receiving medium to create a design, drawing, picture, sketch, and the like on the receiving medium.
ULTIMATE RINSE CUP BRUSH CLEANING SYSTEM
A set of molded silicone rubber devices is used for cleaning a variety of paint brushes in a variety of containers. A circular basic paint puck is molded silicone rubber with paint-cleaning teeth and a diameter matching the bottom of a standard coffee cup or else a standard disposable paint mixing cup of 8oz, 16oz, 32oz or 64oz. A bucket puck has a diameter fitting a 1-gallon or 5-gallon paint bucket and is suitable for large, heavy brushes. An expansible paint puck doubles in size when submerged in turpenoid paint solvent and has a silicone rubber purity and hardness ensuring uniform expansion and contraction. A paint puck set includes solvent container, stable footing and ultimate rinse cup topper with brush holders, flexible cup grip, brush scraping surfaces and drip tray.
