Continuous conveying type bag filling and packaging machine
10023331 · 2018-07-17 · ·

A continuous conveying type bag filling and packaging machine including multiple groups of grippers (2) continuously traveling along a racetrack-shaped annular path and, as the grippers (2) complete a single revolution, carries out various packaging operations, wherein a measuring hopper (42) is provided above each elevating hopper (37) and is continuously rotated in conjunction therewith. The measuring hopper (42) has a shutter (44). A weight detector (46), along with a shutter actuation mechanism (47), is provided so as to correspond to each measuring hopper (42) and is continuously rotated in conjunction therewith. If, based on a detection signal from the weight detector (46), it is determined that the weight of the material to be packaged that is supplied to the measuring hopper (42) exceeds the upper limit value of the allowable range, the corresponding shutter actuation mechanism (47) is not actuated, and the shutter (44) is maintained closed.

VERTICALLY ORIENTED TRANSPORTABLE CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED STABILITY

A transportable container apparatus includes an elongate container having a central axis and a base attached to a bottom end of the container. The container and base are substantially symmetrical about the central axis and the container is oriented substantially vertically with the base resting on a ground surface when in a working position. The container having an upper container section with upper walls substantially parallel to the central axis and a lower container section with lower walls substantially parallel to the central axis. The upper container section includes a sloping hopper at a bottom thereof to direct granular material into the lower container section. A floor of the container is sloped toward an outlet port defined in a ported wall of the lower container section such that granular material stored in the container slides down the floor to the outlet port.

A hopper has a gate pivotable to open and close the lower opening of a hopper body, wherein opposing side parts more spaced apart than a width of the body are extending from the gate, and the opposing side parts of the gate are externally fitted pivotably to fulcrum shafts protruding from outer side surfaces of the hopper body. The hopper further includes regulating members interposed between the outer side surfaces of the body and the opposing side parts of the gate. The regulating members are configured to regulate movements of the gate in pivotal directions thereof and are detachably engaged with the fulcrum shafts circumferentially around the fulcrum shafts.

The invention relates to a pan scale (1) for weighing and ejecting fiber components (32) onto a mixing belt (34) with an upwardly open container (2), comprising a multiple number of side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) and a bottom (9) divided into two parts in the longitudinal direction of the container, whereas the bottom (9) is formed by two rotatably hinged bottom flaps (10, 11), which can be rotated away from one another from an inner closing position abutting against one another into an outer open position. In accordance with the invention, the two bottom flaps (10, 11) are formed in a manner asymmetrical to one another, such that they feature bottom surfaces of different sizes (18, 19). In addition or alternatively, at least one of the two bottom flaps (10, 11) features a retaining device (28) at least in one area on its bottom surface (18, 19), by means of which, upon the opening of the associated bottom flap (18, 19), a part of the fiber components (32) can be retained by means of a form closure and/or frictional closure up to a partial opening angle ().

Portable weighing hopper assembly
09889785 · 2018-02-13 ·

A portable weighing hopper assembly for use in precisely loading bulk material or commodities in a shipping container or vessel which includes a wheeled frame having first and second metered hoppers mounted thereon. A primary hopper is mounted on the wheeled frame for supplying material to either the first and second metered hoppers. A transfer valve is positioned between the discharge end of the primary hopper and the first and second metered hoppers for directing material from the primary hopper to either the first and second metered hoppers. A slide gate is positioned between the lower outlet end of the primary hopper and the transfer valve. Load cells are associated with the first and second metered hoppers which supplies the weight information to a CPU. The CPU controls the flow of material from the metered hoppers to a conveyor which discharges the material into a shipping container or the like.

PRODUCT OUTPUT DEVICE

A product output device for a product supply system, in which a first product supply device and a second product supply device provide product amounts in a first collecting container and a second collecting container. Both collecting containers are provided with respective first closure flaps and second closure flaps. As soon as the collecting containers are positioned above the product receiving device, the closure flaps can open in order to drop the product into the product receiving device. The collecting container, comprising the first collecting container and the second collecting container, can be pivoted to an output position of the first collecting container, or to a output position of the second collecting container. Herein, the pivoting movement to the respectively different output positions begins before the first closure flaps have closed.

Method, apparatus, and machine for filling bags with a metered quantity of bulk material

A method for filling bags with metered quantities of bulk products includes providing a first container and a second container having an assigned total volume. Each container is divided into two respective half-volumes, each half-volume being designed to feed product to a first station or a second station for filling bags, so that each container has a half-volume connected to the first station and a half-volume connected to the second station of the two stations. A first predefined metered quantity of product is provided inside the first container by dividing-up the metered quantity of product into two quantities equal to approximately half the metered quantity, each fed to a respective half-volume of the first container. A bag is conveyed to the first filling station. The bag is filled with the quantity of product of the first half volume of the first container.
