INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus including a processor, the processor being configured to execute acquiring a quantity of stock of a first product stored at a storage place based on a measured value indicating a weight of a load at the storage place by a weight sensor installed at the storage place. The processor executes: acquiring a weight per one article of the first product; and determining, when there is an increase or decrease from a last measured value to the current measured value of the weight sensor, whether or not the increase or decrease in the measurement value is due to addition or reduction of the first product, based on the weight per one article. The processor executes updating the quantity of stock of the first product when it is determined that the increase or decrease in the measured value is due to addition or reduction of the first product.
Stand scale with removable display and control unit
An apparatus for measuring the weight of a person, wherein the weight measuring apparatus has at least one digital display and operator control unit. The at least one display and operator control unit is connectable to the weight measuring apparatus in at least two different positions in the region of a top segment thereof, so as to realize improved operability of the apparatus from different sides.
Suitcase weighing luggage rack
Described is a weighing luggage rack having a rack portion with a top section and a bottom section, and a platform portion connected with the top section of the rack portion. In use, the platform portion is stacked on top of the rack portion. The weighing luggage rack further includes a weighing mechanism, and an electronic display configured to display a weight of an object placed thereon. Further embodiments include a weighing luggage rack with only a rack portion and a weighing luggage rack with only a platform portion.
Inadvertent subsequent scan prevention for symbology reader with weighing platter
Methods of detecting scan avoidance events during decode sessions are disclosed herein. An example method includes during a timeout period at one or more processors of the symbology scanner, identifying and decoding a transaction affecting indicia on an object in one or more images to obtain a transaction affecting payload; during the timeout period at the one or more processors, identifying one or more visual features in the one or more images; and in response to identifying a non-transaction affecting indicia associated with the one or more visual features, and failing to identify or decode the transaction affecting indicia, determining a potential scan avoidance attempt and generating a scan avoidance alarm signal.
Measurement circuit for a body weight measuring apparatus for measuring body weight distribution
A measurement circuit of a body weight measuring apparatus is provided. The measurement circuit comprises a load sensing unit including at least one wheatstone bridge circuit for generating a load information comprising at least one of: a left-side weight, a right-side weight, an anterior-side weight, and a posterior-side weight in the form of an output voltage, upon application of a load. The load sensing unit is powered by an input excitation voltage across the at least one wheatstone bridge circuit. The measurement circuit includes an amplifier circuit to amplify the output voltage to generate an amplified output, an analog to digital converter circuit for converting the amplified output to a digital representation of the weight of the load, and a microcontroller to receive and transmit the digital representation of the weight of the load to a server for computing an exact weight of the load.
Barcode Reader with Off-Platter Detection
A barcode reader has a weigh platter and an off-platter detection assembly. The weigh platter is configured to measure a weight of an object and has a surface extending in a first transverse plane, a proximal edge, a first lateral edge extending non-parallel to the proximal edge, and a distal edge. The off-platter detection assembly includes a light emission assembly and a light detection assembly. The light emission assembly is configured to emit a collimated light beam along the first lateral edge, above the surface. The light diffusing barrier is positioned in a path of the collimated light beam and is configured to diffuse the light beam such that the light diffusing barrier appears to be illuminated when contacted by the light beam and appears not to be illuminated when not contacted by the light beam.
Collapsible luggage scale assembly
A collapsible luggage scale assembly includes a panel that has a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge extending between the top and bottom sides. The panel includes a plurality of sections pivotally coupled together such that the panel is foldable. A processor is mounted in the panel. A plurality of weight sensors is positioned in the panel such that each section includes one of the weight sensors. The weight sensors each are electrically coupled to the processor. The processor is programmed to receive signals from the weight sensors and determines a weight positioned on the panel. A transmitter is mounted in the panel and is electrically coupled to the processor. The transmitter is configured to wirelessly transmit the weight to a receiver.
Scale assemblies for providing nutritional content
Systems and methods for scale assemblies for providing nutritional content in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment, a scale assembly for providing nutritional content, the scale assembly in connection with a client device, the scale assembly comprising: a platform for receiving a food item; a pole connected to a center portion of the platform, wherein the pole applies a pressure to a surface of the client device based on a weight of the food item; a centerpiece having a hole for receiving the pole such that the pole moves vertically through the hole; at least one support leg, wherein the at least one support leg is connected to the centerpiece and provides support to the scale assembly; and wherein the pressure applied by the pole to the surface of the client device is used to calculate the nutritional content of the food item.
