Automated temperature logging and predictive alerting system with timed logs
Disclosed are various embodiments for an automated temperature logging and predictive alerting system for monitoring items that are being cooled or heated. In one embodiment, a predictive logging application may compare a predicted temperature curve of an item to a predefined slope to predict whether or not the item will meet a target threshold. The target threshold may be a target temperature or duration rule that can be aggregated discontinuously over a single day or multiple days. If the projected temperature curve is predicted to not meet the target threshold, the logging application may send alerts notifying a client of available corrective actions. In projecting the predicted slope, the predictive logging application may train machine learning models to analyze historical data associated with the item and the user.
THERMOMETER AND TEMPERATURE MONITORING SYSTEM
A temperature monitoring system includes a thermometer and a first communication device. The thermometer counts a monitoring time, executes a measuring procedure to acquire a first temperature value and a second temperature value to determine whether to wirelessly broadcast a temperature information signal, and executes a time interval producing procedure after the measuring procedure to determine a time interval and to determine whether the measuring procedure is terminated. The first communication device receives the temperature information signal from the thermometer. The user may remotely monitor the temperature of a monitored object through the first communication device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING PRODUCT FRESHNESS
The method and system can include freezer and refrigeration units that are equipped with thermostats or modules for controlling and monitoring the temperatures inside the units. The thermostats may be communicatively coupled to a printer used for inventory labeling and date information. The thermostats may also include a variety of alarms that may be triggered. The method and system may provide a label that shows that any food products stored in the refrigeration and freezer units was maintained at a predetermined or desired temperature range during the storage period. The label can thus provide an indicator of freshness where one or more indicia may be printed thereon showing that the food product was properly stored, a temperature range during the storage period, duration of the storage period, expected shelf life of the food product, and the like.
Whisk and digital thermometer
The whisk and digital thermometer comprises a kitchen whisk capable of monitoring the temperature of the food that the whisk is in contact with. A temperature sensing probe extends downward from the handle of the whisk into the food and a temperature sensor within the probe may be read by electronics in the handle of the whisk. A display on the handle may report the temperature of the food. Embodiments may comprise a voice synthesis unit and sound transducer to allow the whisk to audibly report the monitored temperature. Embodiments may comprise a wireless transceiver that allows the whisk to report the monitored temperature to an earpiece worn by a cook at a remote location, such as at another kitchen work area.
System for controlling output parameter of secondary battery, and method therefor
The present disclosure discloses a system and method of adjusting an output parameter of a secondary battery. The system according to the present disclosure determines a voltage, a current, and a temperature of the secondary battery, determines a state of charge of the secondary battery using the current, determines a deration target current value calculated from a maximum value of a predefined resistance change rate, which corresponds to the state of charge and the temperature, and an output maintaining time, when the voltage of the secondary battery decreases to a preset threshold voltage or lower, and provides an output parameter including at least one of the deration target current value and a deration target output value determined therefrom to a control system of a load device supplied with power from the secondary battery.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SMART MATERIAL MONITORING
A system for monitoring the characteristics of a material by measuring electrical properties of a material uses a material monitoring device and a cloud database that relates electrical properties of a material to characteristics of that material. The aging and fermentation processes of wine and other alcohols can be monitored. The status and decomposition of foodstuffs can be monitored. The progress of chemical reactions in a vessel can be monitored. Water quality of water from a water conduit can be monitored. These characteristics can be indicated on a product monitoring device or can be communicated to an external computing device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TEMPERATURE DETERMINATION
A method of determining a temperature of a patient includes measuring a first temperature of the patient with a temperature device, and measuring a second temperature of an environment with the temperature device. The method includes determining if a change in the ambient temperature exceeds a threshold. If the change does exceed the threshold, the method also includes applying a correction factor to the first temperature of the patient to account for the change in ambient temperature.
