ERROR COMPENSATION FOR SHEATHED SENSORS
A circuit for determining and/or compensating for a measurement error of a sheathed sensor due to a property of a sheath of that sheathed sensor comprises a first and a second terminal for connecting to a pair of sensor signal leads of a sensor element in a sheathed sensor and a voltage measurement circuit. A switching unit controls switching an electrical connection between a first and a second state. A correction measurement circuit generates a correction signal indicative of that a measured current running from the first terminal through the switching unit. A controller receives the measurement and correction signal in both the first and second state, and calculates an error value indicative of the measurement error and/or a sensor readout value that is corrected for the measurement error by taking the measurement and correction signal into account as obtained in both the first and second state.

Thermocouple resistance compensator
A compensator designed to function with any type of base metal thermocouple which reduces the measured source impedance of high resistance thermocouples to less than 100 ohms making them compatible with or readable by modern measuring instruments.

Thermocouple Ribbon and Assembly
A thermocouple ribbon features a pair of flat conductors and first and second layers of a polyimide film covering the conductors. The polyimide film preferably is coated with a fluoropolymer, such as fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP). During manufacture of the thermocouple ribbon, the first and second layers of polyimide film, with the pair of flat conductors positioned there between, are heated above the melting temperature of the FEP. The completed thermocouple ribbon is then cooled. A thermocouple connector may then be attached to a first end of the thermocouple ribbon, while a welded thermocouple junction may be formed at a second end of the thermocouple ribbon.

Integrated fluxgate magnetic sensor and excitation circuitry
Improved magnetic sensor excitation circuitry is presented for providing a periodic bidirectional excitation waveform to a fluxgate magnetic sensor excitation coil using a bridge circuit connected to the excitation coil and having lower transistors for switched selective connection to a current mirror input transistor to mirror a current provided by pulsed current source, and with integrated filtering to control pulse rise times and slew rate.

Securing internet of things (IOT) RF (radio frequency) location tags using source addresses to locate stations on a Wi-Fi network
RF tags using source addresses to locate stations on a Wi-Fi network are secured. An RF location server receives a pseudo source address of an RF (radio frequency) tag from a station. The station obtains the pseudo source address while being within radio range of the RF tag and the station receiving a beacon frame from the RF tag. A source address for the RF tag is looked-up utilizing the pseudo source address, and a specific location for the RF tag is looked-up utilizing the source address. Some embodiments store the locations in association with the pseudo address. Either way, the specific location of the station is identified based on the source address of the RF tag. An action is determined in response to at least the specific location of the station. Information related to the action is sent to the station for output to a user of the station. For example, a location-based offer or service can be provided in real-time with a consumer's presence to relevant products or services.
