Pressure Sensor on a Ceramic Substrate
A pressure sensor is disclosed. In an embodiment a pressure sensor includes a housing comprising a housing wall, a sensor element arranged inside the housing, a ceramic substrate acting as a carrier of the sensor element and of its electrical connection arranged inside the housing and a first heating element arranged inside the housing or the housing wall.
Measurement fluctuation suppressing pressure sensor device
A pressure sensor device with good temperature characteristics. An auxiliary fluid introduction path is provided in a bottom wall portion of a first case to introduce a fluid to the vicinity of a recessed portion of the bottom wall portion where an integrated circuit with a large change in temperature characteristics is mounted such that the temperature of the integrated circuit becomes the same as or close to the temperature of the fluid.
Aircraft engine multi-channel pressure transducer
An aircraft engine pressure transducer includes a first pressure transducer channel and a second pressure transducer channel. The first pressure transducer channel is configured to sense a pressure of the aircraft engine over a first pressure range and a first temperature range. The second pressure transducer channel is configured to sense the pressure of the aircraft engine over a second pressure range and a second temperature range, the second pressure range being a subset of the first temperature range, and the second temperature range being a subset of the first temperature range.
REMOTE SEAL SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION
A remote seal system includes a remote diaphragm having a first side configured to be exposed to a process fluid. A conduit is coupled to the remote diaphragm and includes a fill fluid in fluidic communication with a second side of the remote diaphragm. A temperature sensor is thermally coupled to the conduit and configured to sense a temperature of the fill fluid. In one alternative example, a remote sensing assembly includes a flexible elongate conduit having a first end coupled to a remote diaphragm in fluidic communication with a process fluid and a second end extending a length from the first end to a process fluid pressure transmitter. A substantially incompressible fill fluid is disposed within the flexible elongate conduit. The process fluid pressure transmitter is configured to generate an output value indicative of pressure in the process fluid based on a corresponding pressure in the fill fluid. A temperature detector is coupled to the flexible elongate conduit and is configured to provide a signal indicative of an average temperature of the fill fluid along the flexible elongate conduit. A compensation system calculates a thermal expansion value based on the average temperature and adjusts the pressure signal based on the thermal expansion value.
Device for measuring and system for measuring a pressure comprising a pressure sensor
A pressure measurement device includes a pressure sensor including a printed circuit card having a portion that is to be subjected to pressure for measurement. The printed circuit card has strain detectors mounted on the portion to measure deformation of the printed circuit card under the influence of the pressure. The device may be included in a measurement system.
Systems and methods for electrically identifying and compensating individual pressure transducers
Certain implementations of the disclosed technology may include systems, methods, and apparatus for assigning a distinct identifier (ID) to a pressure transducer based on resistor values. Embodiments include electrically identifying the distinct ID, and compensating the pressure transducer based on the distinct ID. According to an example implementation, a method is provided that can include coupling a transducer ID measurement assembly with a transducer assembly; measuring, by the transducer ID measurement assembly, a plurality of divided voltages between a plurality of configurable ID switches and a reference resistor; determining, with a processor, a distinct ID associated with the transducer assembly based on the plurality of measured divided voltages; retrieving one or more compensation parameters based on the distinct ID; and compensating, with the one or more compensation parameters, a measurement signal of the transducer assembly.
Environmental sensor
A controller for an environmental sensor provides digital environmental measurement values from analog environmental measurements performed by analog circuitry, the digital environmental measurement values lying in a global scale range. The controller subjects the global scale range to a subdivision into scale subranges that are proper subranges of the global scale range. The controller selects, among the scale subranges, one scale subrange in which an analog environmental measurement is to be performed, selects an offset information and a gain information that are associated with the selected scale subrange and that are indicative of an offset and a gain to be applied by the analog circuitry to perform an analog environmental measurement in the selected scale subrange, and to provide the offset information and the gain information to the analog circuitry.
Thermal conductivity gauge
A thermal conductivity gauge measures gas pressure within a chamber. A sensor wire and a resistor form a circuit coupled between a power input and ground, where the sensor wire extends into the chamber and connects to the resistor via a terminal. A controller adjusts the power input, as a function of a voltage at the terminal and a voltage at the power input, to bring the sensor wire to a target temperature. Based on the adjusted power input, the controller can determine a measure of the gas pressure within the chamber.
