Micro-molded fluid pressure sensor housing
A micro pressure sensor includes a sense die mounted on a substrate, a ring structure encircling the sense die, and a silicone material is overmolded to an exterior of the ring structure to form a seal with the ring structure and fills an interior of the ring structure. The ring structure has one or more legs at bottom side, which are snap fitted to the substrate through mating holes such that the ring structure encircles the sense die; and a top surface of the silicone material receives the external pressure and transmits the external pressure to the sense surface of the sense die to generate an output signal on the sense die, wherein a processor converts the output signal into a pressure reading. The pressure-transmitting media transmits a received external pressure to the sense surface of the sense die to generate an output signal from the sense die, wherein a processor converts the output signal into a pressure reading.
Pressure sensor with calibration device and calibration method thereof
A pressure sensor with calibration device includes a casing, a diaphragm, a sensing element, a medium, and at least one calibration element. The diaphragm is disposed on the casing, wherein the casing and the diaphragm define an accommodating space. The sensing element is disposed in the casing. The medium is filled in the accommodating space and in contact with the sensing element. The at least one calibration element is adjustably disposed at the casing and extended into the accommodating space to be in contact with the medium, wherein when the at least one calibration element is moved relative to the casing in a direction toward the accommodating space or in a direction away from the accommodating space, the at least one calibration element changes the pressure applied to the medium. The pressure sensor with calibration device adjusts the pressure value sensed by the sensing element via the calibration element.

The pressure sensor further includes a second cavity formed in the housing and a channel with a first end fluidly connected to the first cavity and a second end fluidly coupled to the second cavity. A pressure sensor chip is positioned in the second cavity and includes a first diaphragm positioned at a top side of the pressure sensor chip laterally outwards from the second end of the channel to prevent a fluid from jetting onto the first diaphragm.
Pressure Measurement Devices, Methods, and Systems
A method for measuring pressure includes securing a flow channel to a chassis of a measurement device, the flow channel having a flexible wall with a first mechanical engagement feature presented from an external surface thereof. The method also includes engaging the mechanical engagement feature with a complementary engagement member connected to a force transducer, the securing being effective to immobilize the flow channel relative to the force transducer, and detecting at least one of the position and orientation of the of the flow channel relative to transducer and comparing to at least one of a predefined position and orientation. Further, the method includes generating a signal responsive to the detecting, flowing a fluid through the flow channel, and transmitting forces caused by displacement of the flexible wall through the complementary engagement member to the force transducer. Further, electrical signals are generated responsively to a state of the force transducer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIXING AND SEALING SENSORS TO PIPES
A device for connecting one or more sensors to a pipe, may include a sealed capsule and a pipe connector. The sealed capsule may include the one or more sensors and a non-corrosive liquid. The pipe connector may be configured to fix the sealed capsule to the pipe. The one or more sensors may be configured to measure pressure or pressure transient from a first liquid via the non-corrosive liquid.
Shield structure for pressure sensor, and pressure sensor provided with same
In a pressure sensor, a cap-shaped shielding member (17) to block an electric field undesirable for a signal processing electronic circuit unit of a sensor chip (16) is supported by an end surface of a disk conductive plate (19) between one end surface of the sensor chip (16) in a liquid sealing chamber (13) and a diaphragm (32). The conductive plate (19) is electrically connected via a group of input-output terminals (40ai) and bonding wires (Wi), for example, and the sensor chip (16) is supported by one end portion of a chip mounting member (18) which is electrically connected via the group of input and output terminals (40ai) and the bonding wires (Wi).
PRESSURE DETECTION DEVICE
Provided is a pressure detection device including a pressure detection unit configured to detect a pressure to be transmitted to a pressure sensor, and a flow channel unit on which the pressure detection unit is disposed. The pressure detection unit) includes a pressure sensor and a conductive protective film disposed in contact with the pressure sensor, the conductive protective film breaking contact between the pressure sensor and a fluid. The conductive protective film is formed of a conductive fluororesin material including a fluororesin material and a conductive material dispersed in the fluororesin material and is connected to a ground portion maintained at a ground potential.
