METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COLD CHAIN QUALITY CONTROL AND SECURITY
A cold chain system with thermosensitive labels linked to an online traceability portal is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of human a machine readable code labels having irreversible thermosensitive inks placed on various products. The labels optionally having multiple codes paired with various predefined discrete images or strings detected using optical methods or text-based transmission and communication protocols. The system can enhance cold chain quality and security by allowing real time validation and traceability from factory to end users through an online platform compatible with mobile devices. The system can also enhance both manual and technological cold chain security methods for countries that have varying degrees of technological capability to ultimately improve vulnerable supply chains.
Dual-function heat indicator and method of manufacture
A dual-function heat indicator for monitoring two or more modes of heat exposure is described. A manufacturing process for the dual-function heat indicator is also described. Dual-function heat indicators as described may be useful for monitoring the exposure of host products, with which the dual-function heat indicators may be associated, to cumulative ambient heat exposure and to a peak ambient heat exposure, and for other purposes.
Real time indicator for quaternary ammonium compound concentration
The present disclosure generally relates to a color indicator that signals when the concentration of an antimicrobial solution changes. In some embodiments, the color indicator is specific for changes in the concentration of an antimicrobial quaternary ammonium compound in an antimicrobial solution. The color indicator can be incorporated into a variety of articles including towels, labels, containers, buckets, trays, sinks, spray bottles, liners for containers, buckets, sinks, or spray bottles, indictor wands or strips, and test kits.
Temperature detecting material, temperature detecting ink using same, temperature indicator, and product control system
A temperature detecting material comprises a first material containing a first temperature indicating material and a second material containing a second temperature indicating material, wherein the first temperature indicating material and the second temperature indicating material contain a leuco dye, a color developing agent, and a decoloring agent, and have a hysteresis characteristic in their color density-temperature curves, wherein the first temperature indicating material has a color developing temperature in a temperature increase process lower than a decoloring temperature in the temperature increase process, and turns to a non-crystalline state and is kept in a decoloring state when cooled down below the color developing temperature in the temperature increase process with a predetermined cooling speed or more after melting, wherein the second temperature indicating material, a color developing temperature is lower than a decoloring temperature in the temperature increase process, and wherein the color developing temperature in the temperature increase process is lower than the decoloring temperature in the temperature increase process and the color developing temperature is lower than the color developing temperature in the temperature increase process.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INDICATING THE TIME ELAPSED SINCE THE OCCURRENCE OF A TRIGGERING EVENT
Described are systems and methods which can be used to indicate the period of time elapsed since the occurrence of a triggering event. More particularly, this application relates to systems and methods which can be used to visually indicate the time period elapsed since an article has been removed from its packaging. The system can include an indicator disposed on or within the article and a trigger disposed within the receptacle and in contact with the indicator. The article may be enclosed within a sealable receptacle of the package. The indicator is responsive to a change in a concentration of the trigger in contact with the indicator. The removal of the article from the receptacle can induce a change in concentration of the trigger in contact with the indicator. The change in the concentration of the trigger can induce a change in color in the indicator. The color change indicates a predetermined period of time has elapsed since the article has been removed from the receptacle. The predetermined period of time is from 30 minutes to 30 days, such as from 1 hour to 30 days.
Electronic quality indicator
A visually sensible indicator of temperature including electronic temperature sensing circuitry sensing at least when a temperature exceeds at least one predetermined temperature threshold and providing at least one corresponding threshold exceedance output which is sensible as heat and a heat-responsive visually sensible display which is responsive to the at least one threshold exceedance output for providing at least one visually sensible indication indicating that the temperature has exceeded the predetermined temperature threshold.
Time and/or Temperature Sensitive Devices and Methods of Use Thereof
An apparatus, system and method for a time temperature indicator (TTI) which is capable of providing a summary of the time and temperature history of a good to which it is coupled, optionally including with regard to providing an indication as to whether one or more temperature thresholds have been breached. According to other embodiments, the TTI specifically provides an indication as to whether a temperature threshold at or around the freeze point has been breached, optionally even without providing a time and temperature history.
Method for monitoring an electrical cable accessory system
The present disclosure describes an electrical cable accessory system for covering an electrical cable and/or cable connection. The electrical cable accessory system includes a pre-expanded cable accessory unit and a time-temperature indicator associated with the pre-expanded cable accessory unit. The pre-expanded cable accessory unit includes a pre-expanded cable accessory formed of an elastomeric material and a removable holdout mounted within the elastomeric cable accessory, wherein the holdout is operative to maintain the elastomeric cable accessory in an expanded state and to permit the elastomeric cable accessory to elastically contract when the holdout is removed from the elastomeric cable accessory. The time-temperature indicator is configured to undergo a visible change in appearance in response to a cumulative heat exposure and signal to a viewer when the elastomeric material of the pre-expanded elastomeric cable accessory unit has experienced a threshold cumulative heat exposure. Methods including the same are also described herein.
SCREW CAP SYSTEM
The present invention relates to time temperature indicator (TTI) systems for monitoring the time and temperature exposure of foods, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and similar products. More particularly, the present invention provides a cap system, such as a screw cap system, featuring a TTI system.
ACTIVATABLE TEMPERATURE INDICATOR WITH TIME DELAY
Disclosed herein are delayed reaction threshold temperature indicators and methods of making and activating the same, the delayed reaction threshold temperature indicators including a first substrate, first and second layers, and a housing secured to the substrate. The first layer includes a first reactant and an optional meltable polymer, and the second layer includes a meltable polymer and a second reactant. The meltable polymer is configured to keep the first and second reactants from interacting with each other. When exposed to temperatures at and/or above a desired threshold for a period of time, the meltable polymer melts and allows the first and second reactants to come into contact with each other, thereby producing a visual change in appearance.
