Can growth/buckling tester
09897511 · 2018-02-20 ·

The growth/buckle tester relates to a device for testing strength of metal cans. Using the position of the can on top of Belleville spring and expandable rubber bushing, holding by sectional clamps with turning cams and middle central part from outside, permitted create uniform holding and clamping force in horizontal direction. Using chamfers on holding plates and turning cams for holding the testing can vertically create necessary space around the stand for growth/buckle tests. The chamber created inside the can with almost the same volume of volume of air for the test reducing dispersion of measurement values. Cuts around of Bellville spring make path for delivering testing air pressure for the growth/buckle tests. Angle of rotation turning cams depend and control by outside diameter of testing can.

Waste plastic container recycling system and method thereof

A waste plastic container recycling system and a method thereof are provided for determining whether the spectrum of a waste container to be recycled belongs to any one of spectrums of plastic materials and for classifying waste containers of different plastic materials since the plastic materials have the different spectral characteristics. Accordingly, the waste plastic container recycling system and the method thereof can accurately recognize the waste containers of different plastic materials regardless of the appearance, or damage, deformation or concealment of the label on the waste containers.

PREDICTING SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE WARPAGE

A method for predicting the electrical functionality of a semiconductor package, the method includes performing a first stiffness test for a first semiconductor package, receiving failure data for the first semiconductor package, the failure data includes results of an electrical test performed after the first semiconductor package is assembled on a printed circuit board, generating a database comprising results of the first stiffness test as a function of the failure data for the first semiconductor package, performing a second stiffness test for a second semiconductor package, identifying a unique result from the results of the first stiffness test in the database, the unique result aligns with a result of the second stiffness test, and predicting a failure data for the second semiconductor package based on the failure data for the first semiconductor package which corresponds to the unique result of the first stiffness test identified in the database.

DETECTING PACKAGED PRODUCTS WITH IMPROPER VACUUM SEALS
20250244197 · 2025-07-31 ·

This disclosure includes techniques for evaluating a vacuum seal in a packaged product. A device controls a lighting system to direct light at a packaged product. The device controls a camera system to capture one or more images of the packaged product while the lighting system is directing the light at the packaged product. The device receives the one or more images of the packaged product captured while the lighting system is directing light at the packaged product. The device analyzes one or more characteristics of the light in the one or more images. The device determines, based on the one or more characteristics of the light in the one or more images, a quality score indicating whether the packaged product was properly vacuum sealed.

DEVICE FOR DETERMINING THE PEEL FORCE REQUIRED TO PEEL A COVER FOIL OFF OF A PRIMARY PACKAGING CONTAINER

An automated device for determining the peel force to peel a lidding foil off of a top surface of a primary packaging shell comprises: a shell holder for holding the primary packaging shell to the top surface of which the lidding foil is sealed; a foil lifter for lifting a non-sealed end portion of the lidding foil up from the planar top surface of the primary packaging shell held by the shell holder; a foil gripper for grasping the lifted non-sealed end portion of the lidding foil; a foil peeler for peeling the sealed lidding foil with the lifted non-sealed end portion grasped by the foil gripper off of the planar top surface of the primary packaging; and a force sensor for determining the force required to peel the lidding foil off of the top surface of the primary packaging shell.
