A method for preparing a coal, which is used alone or in combination with at least one other coal, or a caking additive as a raw material for coke production. The method includes, before the coal or caking additive is delivered to a coke plant, adjusting a grain size such that the amount of grains with a grain size of 6 mm or more in the coal or caking additive satisfies at least one of a degree of entanglement (a - b)/a of 0.20 or more and a portion having a height a of 30 mm or more is 30% or less by mass. The height a is a height of semicoke adhering to a stirrer, the semicoke formed by heating the coal or caking additive in a container while rotating the stirrer, and the height b is a height of the semicoke on an inner wall of the container.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for controlled burning of experimental solid fuel test strands. The fuel test strand is advanced by a screw attached to a computer-controlled stepper motor. The stepper motor controls the fuel test strand position via a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control loop, adjusting velocity based on transmission of a diode laser beam located at the desired fuel surface position. This provides real-time monitoring of fuel strand position and fuel regression rate during combustion experiments.

The system includes an equivalent atomic number measuring device, a flow rate measuring device, an ash content measuring device, a volatile content measuring device, a moisture content measuring device and a data acquisition and processing device. The data acquisition and processing device iteratively corrects the measured real-time density, real-time ash content, real-time moisture content and/or real-time volatile content; and the data acquisition and processing device performs online calculation of the coal consumption according to a real-time volume flow rate and the iteratively-corrected real-time density, real-time ash content, real-time moisture content and real-time volatile content. The coal consumption online measuring system is an independent and complete working system which only uses the measured data from the coal consumption online measuring system itself to obtain the final required results.

A method for non-destructively determining a mechanical property of a solid rocket motor propellant grain may comprise applying a force to a surface of the solid rocket motor propellant grain, wherein a deformation is formed on the surface of the solid rocket motor propellant grain in response to the applying, and calculating a value of the mechanical property of the solid rocket motor propellant grain based on the deformation. This process may be performed over time to determine a lifespan of the propellant grain.

A method of producing at least one or more resins is disclosed. The method includes providing an amount of raw coal. The raw coal includes one or more impurities therein. The method also includes beneficiating the amount of raw coal to selectively removing at least a portion of some of the one or more impurities in the raw coal to form beneficiated coal. Additionally, the method includes processing the beneficiated coal to produce an amount of pitch. The method further includes modifying at least some of the pitch to produce the one or more resins. The one or more resins include a selected amount of a remainder of the one or more impurities that were not removed while beneficiating the amount of the raw coal, processing the beneficiated coal, and modifying at least some of the pitch.

The present application discloses a coal consumption online measuring system, which belongs to the field of analysis and measurement technology. The system includes an equivalent atomic number measuring device, a flow rate measuring device, an ash content measuring device, a volatile content measuring device, a moisture content measuring device and a data acquisition and processing device. The data acquisition and processing device iteratively corrects the measured real-time density, real-time ash content, real-time moisture content and/or real-time volatile content; and the data acquisition and processing device performs online calculation of the coal consumption according to a real-time volume flow rate and the iteratively-corrected real-time density, real-time ash content, real-time moisture content and real-time volatile content. The coal consumption online measuring system of the present application is an independent and complete working system which only uses the measured data from the coal consumption online measuring system itself and does not need to use any data from any production equipment of the energy consumption plant to participate in the calculation thereof or directly serve as an intermediate measuring result, so that the system is not easily disturbed by human factors, and a complete and independent on-line real-time measuring of coal consumption is realized, with accurate measuring results.
Coal and gangue identification device and coal and gangue sorting system
A coal and gangue identification device is disclosed. The device includes a rotary supporting frame, a water injection unit, a weighing unit, a liquid level detection device and a processing module. The rotary supporting frame is provided with a loading unit used to load a mineral aggregate. The rotary supporting frame is used to drive the loading unit to rotate on a horizontal plane. In the rotating process of the rotary supporting frame, the loading unit cyclically passes through a water injection region, a material adding region, a volume measurement region and an unloading region which are sequentially disposed on a rotation trajectory of the rotary supporting frame. The water injection unit is used to inject water to the loading unit of the water injection region.
