Some aspects of what is described here relate to analyzing a well cement slurry. In some aspects, a well cement slurry is mixed in a mixer under a plurality of conditions. The plurality of conditions correspond to a plurality of distinct Reynolds number values for the well cement slurry in the mixer. Power number values associated with mixing the well cement slurry in the mixer under the plurality of conditions are identified. Each power number value is based on an amount of energy used to mix the well cement slurry under a respective one of the plurality of conditions. Values for parameters of a functional relationship between power number and Reynolds number are identified based on the power number values and the Reynolds number values for the plurality of conditions.

An investment casting shell substrate sensor method and apparatus comprising a hollow probe 10 having an aperture 30, the aperture 30 covered by a water proof breathable membrane (WPBM) 20 that is constructed and arranged to repel liquid from entering the aperture 30, while remaining permeable so as to allow vapor and air to pass through the aperture 30, thereby creating a liquid free internal void 50 within the hollow probe 10 that receives a sensor 40 for measuring the conditions (i.e. temperature and humidity) within the internal void 50, which are accurately indicative of the conditions at the shell substrate at the aperture 30 location. The disclosed sensor assembly provides target specific information at selected substrates within the shell real time, during the shell building process.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING QUALITY OF SLURRY

Provided is an apparatus and method for predicting quality of slurry. The apparatus includes: a data collection module collecting at least one of data among raw and secondary material data, process condition data, environmental data, and measurement data in a ball mill process; a contact temperature sensor attached to outside of a ball mill facility to measure a facility temperature; a vibration sensor detecting vibration from the outside of the ball mill facility; a database; and a processor coupled to the data collection module, the contact temperature sensor, the vibration sensor, and the database, wherein the processor stores the data collected through the data collection module with a contact temperature measured by the contact temperature sensor and vibration data detected by the vibration sensor, generates and trains a learning model, and predicts quality of slurry based on the contact temperature and the vibration data in the ball mill process.

The present disclosure provides a residual stress measurement method and system for ceramic materials. The residual stress measurement method for ceramic materials comprises the following steps: polishing a target position by using a laser engraving machine; after polishing is completed, pasting a strain rosette at the target position, and connecting the pasted strain rosette with a strain collector; designing a target punching path according to a punching position of the strain rosette in a software terminal of the laser engraving machine; punching the ceramic materials to be measured according to the target punching path by using the laser engraving machine; after punching is completed, inputting collected strain data into a residual stress analysis terminal by a strain collector, and calculating and obtaining residual stress result data by the residual stress analysis terminal.
