SENSOR DEVICE TO MITIGATE THE EFFECTS OF UNWANTED SIGNALS MADE IN OPTICAL MEASUREMENTS OF BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
A method for a wearable device to determine a biological parameter of a tissue of a person. To apply an emitting of a first and a second wavelength of light towards the tissue. To collect and sense a first and a second set of frequency bands from the signals received back from the first and the second wavelengths, respectively. The first set of frequency bands represents a first signal which corresponds to a combination of the biological parameter and an extraneous noise. The second set of frequency bands represents a second signal mainly comprising the extraneous noise. To subtract the first set of frequency bands from the second set of frequency bands in the frequency domain to obtain a third set of frequency bands. The third set of frequency bands represents a third signal corresponding to the biological parameter.
Methods and systems for mounting inspection devices
A mount assembly includes a stage including a base and one or more sidewalls extending upward from the base to define an elongated channel, and a holder including an elongated body having a first end portion and a second end portion opposite the first end portion, a bracket extending upward from the elongated body at the first end portion, and a foot extending upward from the elongated body at the second end portion. The elongated body is positionable within the elongated channel. An inspection device is extendable between the bracket and the foot.

Systems and methods are provided for sample processing. A device may be provided, capable of receiving the sample, and performing one or more of a sample preparation, sample assay, and detection step. The device may be capable of performing multiple assays. The device may comprise one or more modules that may be capable of performing one or more of a sample preparation, sample assay, and detection step. The device may be capable of performing the steps using a small volume of sample.
Optical fiber laser induced breakdown spectroscopy detection device and method
An optical fiber laser induced breakdown spectroscopy detection device and a detection method are provided. The device comprises an optical fiber LIBS detector and a master control detection system. The master control detection system is installed in the master control room of a nuclear power plant, and the optical fiber LIBS detector is configured to perform detection in a pipeline. The master control detection system and the optical fiber LIBS detector are connected to each other via the transmission optical fiber and the control signal line. The remote on-line detection of the positioning and fixed point of the designated area of the inner wall of the main pipeline of the nuclear power plant can be detected on line in the master control room of the nuclear power plant.
Fast and accurate mueller matrix infrared spectroscopic ellipsometer
