Swingable chair chassis
A swingable chair chassis comprises a rocker seat including a chamber defined between a bottom wall and a peripheral wall. The bottom wall includes a slot extending in a front/rear direction. A lid is securely mounted to a bottom of the seat and the rocker seat. A supporting seat is disposed in the chamber of the rocker seat. The supporting seat includes a central portion having an insertion hole coupled with chair post. The supporting seat includes an arcuate supporting face formed on an upper side thereof and abutting against a lower face of the lid. A plurality of elastic elements is disposed between the bottom wall of the rocker seat and the supporting seat and provides movement elasticity when the rocker seat swings forward or rearward relative to the supporting seat. The supporting face abuts against the lower face of the lid during swinging movement of the rocker seat.
Guide spring for a seating device and sprung seating device
A guide spring for a seating device has an inner portion, an outer portion, and a spiral coiled portion extending more than one convolution between the inner portion and the outer portion. The inner portion is firmly attached to a rod and the outer portion is firmly attached to a body. The guide spring thereby secures a radial position of the rod within the body, allowing the rod to move axially relative to the body when a load is placed onto the seating device. When in use, the guide spring deforms from a flat spiral shape to a conical spiral shape with axial movement of the rod relative to the body.
Rocker style chairs, modular components for use within rocker style chairs and parts for use within the modular components
Rocker style chairs and rocker style chairs with pivoting seats are provided along with modular components for use within rocker style chairs and parts for assembling within the modular components. The related components and chair assemblies minimize manufacturing time, maximize material usage and decrease related installation time. The related rocker style chairs may provide comfort to chair occupants and minimize noise during related chair component motion.
ACTIVE DYNAMIC SEATING FURNITURE
The invention relates to a rocker mechanism for an active dynamic seating furniture with a seat surface (2) and with a supporting frame (10), which bears the seat surface (2), wherein the supporting frame (10) is designed with the spring-loaded rocker mechanism (20) and in this way the seat surface (2) is mounted movably sprung on the supporting frame (10).
Reclinable office chair
A reclinable office chair includes a reclination adjustment unit coupled to a bottom base disposed at the bottom of the office chair and having an angle limiting element disposed below and spaced apart from a connecting element abutting against carrying elements. When a user sitting on the office chair tilts the office chair in a predetermined direction, the connecting element and the carrying elements, whose movement is restricted by a rim of the bottom base, are stopped from tilting further as soon as the angle limiting element tilts to an extent to come into contact with the rim, not only allowing the office chair in operation to be tilted within a predetermined safety range in any direction, but also enhancing the anti-slip effect which takes place between the office chair and the floor.
Ergonomic chair
A chair having a contoured seat cushion mounted on top of an exercise ball with four tension-adjustable elastic cords such as bungee cords is provided. The shock absorbing cords may attach to the underside of the seat cushion by looping through spring-eye carabiner type hooks, and may pass through grooved locking tubes with v-channels for adjusting the cord tension. The ball may sit on top of a swivel plate, so that dynamic motion and counterbalancing are attainable for a variety of ergonomically beneficial seating styles.
Furniture member having cam tilt mechanism
A furniture member may include a base frame and a seat assembly mounted on the base frame. The seat assembly may include a seat frame, a seatback, a seat bottom, a rocker member, a legrest mechanism, and a tilt mechanism. The rocker member is attached to the seat frame and rollingly contacts the base frame. The rocker member supports the seat assembly relative to the base frame such that the seat assembly is movable between a rocked-back tilt position and a rocked-forward tilt position. The legrest mechanism is mounted to the seat frame and attached to a legrest platform. The legrest mechanism may include a drive rod coupled to a pantograph linkage that is movable relative to the seat frame between retracted and extended positions. The tilt mechanism selectively locks the seat assembly in one of an infinite number of tilt positions between the rocked-back and rocked-forward tilt positions.
MOTION MECHANISM FOR A CHAIR AND CHAIR
A motion mechanism for a chair effects a coordinated movement of a chair seat and chair back. The motion mechanism comprises a mechanism configured to support the chair seat and to couple the chair seat to a chair base assembly, a first back support configured to couple the chair back to the mechanism, and a second back support configured to couple the chair back to the mechanism. A first end of the first back support and a first end of the second back support are coupled via rotary connections to the mechanism. A second end of the first back support and a second end of the second back support are configured for coupling to the chair back. An axis of rotation of the first rotary connection extends in a front-rear direction of the chair and an axis of rotation of the second rotary connection extends in the front-rear direction.
Active dynamic chair
The invention relates to an active dynamic stool comprising the following: a seat part, a three-dimensional articulation system made up of at least three legs with foot parts at the lower end thereof, wherein the legs each have their upper end mounted on the seat part for movement on seat-part-mounted connecting articulations, such that the seat part can execute oscillating and circular movements in respect of its non-deflected rest position.
