Method for identifying a fault event in an electric power distribution grid sector
A method for identifying a fault event in an electric power distribution grid sector including one or more electric loads and having a coupling node with a main grid, at which a grid current adsorbed by said electric loads is detectable. The method allows determining whether a detected anomalous variation of the grid current, adsorbed at the electric coupling node, is due to the start of a characteristic transitional operating period of an electric load or is due to an electric fault.
DEVICE FOR PROVIDING A POWER SUPPLY
A first terminal receives a first DC voltage. A switch selectively couples the first terminal to a second terminal providing an output. A control circuit selectively actuates the switch in response to a comparison of the first DC voltage to a second DC voltage. A low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator, connected between the first and third terminals, operates to provide the second DC voltage from the first DC voltage.
Electric vehicle charging apparatus
An electric vehicle charging controller according to an embodiment comprises: a first sensor for measuring a second voltage value between a first battery having a first voltage value and a relay in a high voltage line connected to electric vehicle charging equipment; a second sensor for measuring a third voltage value between the electric vehicle charging equipment and the relay in the high voltage line; and a control unit for controlling on/off of the relay, wherein if a difference between the second voltage value and the third voltage value is less than a preset fourth voltage value when the control unit applies a second battery voltage between the relay and the electric vehicle charging equipment in the high voltage line after controlling the relay to be turned off, the control unit determines that an operation of the relay is abnormal.
Determination of one or more operating parameters for a switched-mode power supply
A method includes obtaining a first waveform representing an output characteristic with respect to time of a switched-mode power supply. The method further includes removing a high frequency component from the first waveform to generate a modified waveform and determining a stable value of the modified waveform. The method further includes determining an operating parameter of the switched-mode power supply based on the modified waveform, the stable value, or a combination thereof. The one or parameter includes an overshoot value associated with the switched-mode power supply, an undershoot value associated with the switched-mode power supply, or a settling time associated with the switched-mode power supply. The method further includes outputting an indication of the parameter.
Premises security system with power over Ethernet having an uninterruptible power supply and uninterruptible Internet connectivity
The mill for spice products, in particular such as cinnamon sticks, houses a reservoir for storing the spice product. The reservoir communicates through a passage, with a grinding mechanism. The reservoir includes a mechanism for fragmenting the spice product. The mechanism for fragmenting are defined by a crusher of the spice product.
Flyback switching power supply, control system thereof and control method therefor
Provided is a dynamic control method that turns off a primary-side switching transistor when an output voltage exceeds an upper limit, and control the switching of a secondary-side synchronous rectification transistor with a fixed cycle and a fixed duty cycle. During the time that the synchronous rectification transistor is turned on, the energy of a load capacitor at the output end is extracted to the primary side, which causes the output voltage to drop rapidly and the overshoot voltage to decrease greatly.
Photovoltaic system failure and alerting
A fault identification may be triggered by a component of a power generation system (PGS), such as a hardware component, a controller of a hardware component, a device of the PGS, a computer connected to the PGS, a computer configured to monitor the PGS, and/or the like. The fault identification may be the result of a failure of a component of the PGS, a future failure of a component of the PGS, a routine maintenance of the PGS, and/or the like. The fault is converted to a notification on a user interface using a mapping of faults, root-causes, notification rules, and/or the like. The conversion may use one or more lookup tables and/or formulas for determining the impact of the fault on the PGS, and/or the like.
Non-volatile memory array leakage detection
An apparatus and method for detecting leakage current in a non-volatile memory array. A reference current is connected to a leakage detection circuit. A reference code is determined for the leakage detection circuit coupled to a switching circuit. The reference code establishes a leakage current threshold. The reference current is disconnected from the leakage detection circuit and the switching circuit. Next, the leakage detection circuit is connected to a set of word lines of a storage block of a non-volatile memory array by way of the switching circuit. A memory current is generated within the set of word lines. A leakage code is determined for the set of word lines representing leakage current from the word lines in response to the memory current. The leakage code is compared with the reference code. If the leakage code exceeds the reference code, the storage block is deemed unusable.

A switching regulator may be used to generate an output voltage from an input voltage. The switching regulator includes; an inductor including a first terminal and a second terminal that passes an inductor current from the first terminal to the second terminal, a first switch that applies the input voltage to the first terminal when turned ON, a second switch that applies a ground potential to the first terminal when turned ON, a feedback circuit configured to estimate a load receiving the output voltage, detect when the inductor current reaches an upper bound or a lower bound, and adjust the lower bound based on the estimated load, and a switch driver configured to control the first switch and the second switch, such that the inductor current is between the upper bound and the lower bound in response to at least one feedback signal provided by the feedback circuit.
