Device for measuring a chopped current
A device for measuring a chopped current capable of flowing in a circuit having an H-bridge structure including a first branch and a second branch is disclosed. The device includes two transformers respectively connected to a branch and each comprising a primary circuit configured for the flow of a chopped current and a secondary circuit, two demagnetizing circuits, and two measuring circuits respectively connected to the terminals of the secondary circuit of an associated transformer, and respectively including at least one unit which comprises two switch connected in reverse, the two switches being respectively implemented by a transistor and being capable of being controlled. The measuring circuits include a common measuring resistor connected via a terminal to the ground, and via another terminal to the source of the first transistor of the first measuring circuit and to the source of the first transistor of the second measuring circuit.
Device for measuring a chopped current
A device for measuring a chopped current capable of flowing in a circuit having an H-bridge structure including a first branch and a second branch is disclosed. The device includes two transformers respectively connected to a branch and each comprising a primary circuit configured for the flow of a chopped current and a secondary circuit, two demagnetizing circuits, and two measuring circuits respectively connected to the terminals of the secondary circuit of an associated transformer, and respectively including at least one unit which comprises two switch connected in reverse, the two switches being respectively implemented by a transistor and being capable of being controlled. The measuring circuits include a common measuring resistor connected via a terminal to the ground, and via another terminal to the source of the first transistor of the first measuring circuit and to the source of the first transistor of the second measuring circuit.
Apparatus, method and device for sensing DC currents
A magnetometer that senses low level currents flowing in a conductor or wire includes two cores with excitation windings on each core that are connected in series but which are wound in opposite orientations. A periodic alternating current drives the windings. Since the windings are in series but oppositely wound, the current flowing through the windings will produce equal but opposite flux flows in the two cores. A sensing winding is wound around both cores to provide flux profiles. A digital processor analyzes a quiescent flux profile, which is generated when no sense current is flowing through the dual cores, and distorted flux profiles when sense currents are flowing through the dual cores to measure a sense current flowing through the dual cores.

Fluxgate current transducer
Fluxgate current transducer including a control circuit and a fluxgate measuring device comprising a fluxgate magnetic field detector, the fluxgate magnetic field detector comprising a saturable soft magnetic core surrounded by an excitation coil, the control circuit comprising an excitation coil drive circuit connected to the excitation coil and a controller connected to the excitation coil drive circuit configured to generate an alternating excitation current I.sub.fx to alternatingly saturate the soft magnetic core. The controller is in the form of a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) comprising at least one input comprising a 1 bit sigma delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) connected to the excitation coil to receive a measurement signal output by the excitation coil.
