An exemplary magnetic field measurement system includes a wearable sensor unit that includes a magnetometer, a magnetic field generator configured to generate a compensation magnetic field configured to actively shield the magnetometer from ambient background magnetic fields, a twisted pair cable interface assembly electrically connected to the magnetometer, and a coaxial cable interface assembly electrically connected to the magnetic field generator.
MAGNETIC SENSOR DEVICE
A magnetic sensor device includes a conductor that constitutes a coil, and a detection circuit including a plurality of MR elements. The coil includes an upper coil portion. The upper coil portion includes a first conductor portion and a second conductor portion. An average cross-sectional area of the upper coil portion in the first conductor portion of the upper coil portion is smaller than that of the upper coil portion in the second conductor portion. The first conductor portion is located at a position where a first partial magnetic field occurring from the first conductor portion is applied to an MR element.

Mitigation of an Effect of Capacitively Coupled Current While Driving a Sensor Component Over an Unshielded Twisted Pair Wire Configuration
An illustrative system includes a sensor component and a controller conductively coupled by way of a first wire and a second wire in a twisted pair configuration. The controller includes a driver configured to drive the sensor component by way of the first and second wires with a drive current in accordance with a gain parameter and a control loop circuit. The control loop circuit is configured to receive a control signal representative of a target current value for the drive current, adjust the gain parameter based on a difference between the target current value and an actual current value of current that is actually being driven through the sensor component, and abstain from adjusting the gain parameter based on current capacitively coupled onto the first and second wires by an external electric field.
Electronic Package for an Electrically Small Device with Integrated Magnetic Field Bias
An electronic package includes a mounting platform for mounting an electrically small device, at least one coil, and an insulator. The coil regulates a magnetic field through the electrically small device at the mounting platform. The coil is adapted to conduct a current for nullifying the magnetic field through the electrically small device at the mounting platform. The insulator is between the mounting platform and the coil for isolating the electrically small device from the coil. An electronic circuit includes this electronic package and the electrically small device mounted at the mounting platform of the electronic package. The electrically small device can be a quantum device and/or a topological device when cooled to a cryogenic temperature. The magnetic field is nullified to prevent the magnetic field from adversely affecting the electrically small device.

Magnetic sensor and magnetic-field detection device including the same
An object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic sensor that can reduce influences of a disturbance magnetic field while ensuring high detection sensitivity. The magnetic sensor includes a sensor chip 20 having an element formation surface 20S on which magnetic detection elements MR3, MR4 are formed, a first magnetic member 31 placed on the element formation surface 20S and having a first height H1 as a height from the element formation surface 20S, and a second magnetic member 32 located on an opposite side of the magnetic detection elements MR3, MR4 to the first magnetic member 31 and having a second height H2 lower than the first height H1. According to the present invention, because the height H2 of the second magnetic member 32 is lower than that of the first magnetic member 31, a detection magnetic field attracted to the second magnetic member 32 can be reduced while a disturbance magnetic field is shielded by the second magnetic member 32. Accordingly, influences of the disturbance magnetic field can be reduced while high detection sensitivity is ensured.
