DETECTION AND PREVENTION OF A CYBER PHYSICAL ATTACK AIMED AT SENSORS
A method for processing signals of active sensor systems including processing an emitted signal to include at least one distinguishing feature, the emitted signal emitted by an active sensor system adapted to intercept a reflection of the emitted signal, and to analyze the reflection of the emitted signal for determining at least one parameter of at least one object located in a space, analyzing an intercepted portion to verify the at least one distinguishing feature in the intercepted portion, and processing the intercepted portion as the reflection of the emitted signal when the at least one distinguishing feature is verified.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING INCIDENT LASER RADIATION ON A SPACECRAFT
A method for detecting incident laser radiation on a spacecraft, whereby incident radiation is detected separately in several discrete spectral ranges, the radiation recorded in the spectral ranges is converted into further processable electrical signals, and the signals are evaluated together. A device for detecting incident laser radiation on a spacecraft is configured to perform such a method.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MODIFYING AN INFRARED SIGNATURE OF A VEHICLE
Systems and methods for modifying an infrared signature of a vehicle are provided. A method may include producing an aerosol cloud proximate the vehicle. The method may further include determining one or more characteristics of the aerosol cloud. The method may also include determining a projection plane within the aerosol cloud based on the aerosol cloud characteristics for projecting a representation of the object. The method may additionally include providing heat at particles in the projection plane of the aerosol cloud to generate the object representation.
Deployable active radar countermeasures
A deployable active radar countermeasure or smart chaff device includes a flexible battery or length of reflective material for passive reflection of a surveillance radar signal. Metallized antenna elements printed onto the material receive the surveillance radar signals, and RF integrated circuitry bonded to the material generates active RF echo signals based on the frequency of the surveillance signal and the length of the material. Wirebond receiving paths include reconfigurable gain amplifiers and filters for adjusting the phase and amplitude of the echo signal, and transmit paths return the echo signal to the radar source via the antenna elements. Echo signals may combine with those of other such devices, having various lengths and associated frequencies, to simulate a false return associated with a particular aircraft or moving target (e.g., simulation of Doppler shift via offset echo frequencies).
