Systems and methods herein provide a portable chair having a ridged collapsible frame and a seat and back support portion made of compressible material attached thereto. The compressible material may include one or more fastening systems corresponding to a fastening system attached to one or more removable accessories, for example a cover, storage compai iment, and the like. One or more accessories may be stored in a storage compartment integrated into the compressible material and/or in a removable storage compartment fastened to the portable chair. Example covers include covers that provide warmth, covers having an ultraviolet protection factor, covers providing insect protection, covers providing moisture protection, and more.

First and second U-shaped cross-members each have legs connected by cross bars and pivotally connected with each other at central portions thereof, and are mutually movable from a generally X-shaped setup condition in which the cross bars are transversely spaced apart, to a generally flat collapsed condition. Right and left frame side assemblies respectively are pivotally connected to the first and second cross-members at terminal ends of their respective front and rear portions and by at least one lost motion linkage.

Collapsible holder for folding chair is set in a chair arm and the 3-D chair arm plane. The holder holds a cup or a cell phone (shape dependent, round or rectangular). A furniture item may include a frame member and a wireless charger assembly. The frame member may include an opening. The wireless charger assembly may be mounted to the frame member. The charger assembly may include a tray, a charging unit, and a retainer. The tray may include a ledge and a mounting boss. The tray may be at least partially received in the opening of the frame member. The ledge may be sized to prevent the tray from passing entirely through the opening. The retainer may include a first portion and a second portion that is resiliently flexible relative to the first portion. The first portion may be attached to the mounting boss of the tray. The second portion may extend outwardly from the mounting boss and may engage a surface defining a periphery of the opening of the frame member.

Furniture such as a cot, table, or chair is provided that uses shock-corded poles in combination with one or many torsion spring mechanisms to achieve a compact pack size. Alternatively, central hubs may be used in lieu of the spring mechanisms. The furniture maintains its usefulness by assembling to a size comparable with conventional full-sized furniture. One or many torsion springs associated with the furniture allow a user to easily achieve tension over desired elements of the furniture while reducing user exertion.

Systems, devices, and methods are provided for a rotating chair, including an upper chair section, a lower chair section and a turntable mounted between the upper chair section and the lower chair section that allows the upper chair section to rotate with respect to the lower chair section.

A shelf attachment for use with a beach or lounge chair is formed of one-piece or has a first shelf half and a second shelf half hingedly and foldably connected to the first shelf half. An elongated member extends through interlocking projections extending from the first shelf half and from the second shelf half to hingedly connect the first and second shelf halves. A first clamp assembly is secured to the first shelf half and a second clamp assembly is secured to the second shelf half to mount the shelf to the rail of a chair.

The chair can also an arm lock disposed on top of the swivel assembly, where the arm lock is selectively moveable between a locked position and unlocked position. A lounge assembly for supporting a portable electronic device having a display screen in a viewable position, the assembly including a base, a hood including a wall structure that includes an internal surface that forms a substantially downwardly opening cavity, the cavity including a front portion and a rear portion, the cavity opening circumscribed by a lower edge that has a front edge portion adjacent the front portion of the cavity and a support device supported by the base adjacent the front edge portion, the support device configured to receive and support the portable electronic device with the device display screen facing at least one of the cavity and a space below the cavity.

An armrest is provided for a seat. That armrest includes a body and a deployable cup holder carried on the body. The deployable cup holder includes a translating base and an erectable well wall carried on the translating base. A seat assembly including an armrest is also disclosed.
