ERGONOMIC SEATING SYSTEM, TILT-LOCK CONTROL AND REMOTE POWERING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A system for supporting a user in a plurality of ergonomic positions that includes a first assembly and a second, separate assembly. The first assembly includes first and second components that are adjustable to support the user in first and second different postures. The second assembly includes separate first and second components that are adjustable to support the user in the first and second postures. Upon the relative position of the second assembly first and second components being changed from the first to the second position, a second assembly processor transmits a wireless signal to a receiver of the first assembly. Upon receiving the wireless signal, a first assembly processor controls an actuator to adjust the position of the first assembly first and second components from the first position to the second position.
OUTDOOR FOLDABLE FURNITURE WITH A LAMPLIGHT DECORATION STRUCTURE
An article of outdoor foldable furniture with a lamplight decoration structure includes a frame body and a foldable component for connecting the frame body. The frame body is provided with at least one light bar groove. The foldable component includes a first connecting part, a folding part, and a second connecting part. The first and second connecting parts are closed and extended through the folding part. The first connecting part and/or the second connecting part are provided with a luminous body mounting groove. The luminous body mounting groove is correspondingly disposed in the light bar groove of the frame body. A lampshade, provided with a light guide bar, is mounted in the light bar groove of the frame body. A light-emitting unit corresponding to the light guide bar is mounted in the luminous body mounting groove. A controller is conductively connected to the light-emitting unit through flexible wires.
Ergonomic Smart Chair and Mobility System and Use Thereof
This is directed to a smart ergonomic chair and mobility system. The system can be used as a working station, a working chair, a mobility device, a personal care device, or a combination thereof. The system is designed to provide ergonomic seating posture for a person who is seated on the chair. The system is also designed to reduce body stress by providing automatic movements of parts of the chair at predefined time points.
Intensive Use Rocking Chair
The invention is a rocker for therapeutic treatment of a user by control of actuators in the rocker and sensing biometric and mechanical conditions of and around the user. The rocker may be formed of a unitary body of translucent or transparent material. The body of the chair features a single tail floor engagement portion and a user area of seat and back. The rocker may have actuators mounted in or near the rocker to generate heat, sound, vibration or light, Sensors in and around the chair monitor movement of the rocker and biometric conditions of the user. A control panel in communication with the actuator and sensors controls and monitors conditions and communicates with a monitoring computer for storage and reporting. Predetermined patters of actuator activation may be programmed into the computer for transmission and execution by the control panel.
Article of furniture
A rest component (12, 14) for an article of furniture (10) includes a body member (16) mountable to a platform (18) of the article of furniture (10), the body member (16) defining a plurality of surfaces (20). A cover member (26) is carried by the body member (16) to define a pocket (32) associated with at least one surface (20) of the body member (16), the pocket (32) defining a mouth (34) to enable a user to gain access to an interior of the pocket (32). At least one receiving formation (36) is carried by the body member (16) within the pocket (32), the cover member (26) concealing the at least one receiving formation (36).
LIGHTED CUP HOLDER FOR SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.
FURNITURE POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A power source resident in furniture provides power to at least one charging port or socket used to provide power to an electronic device. The furniture may be an articulated furniture having at least one motor. The furniture may have at least one type of switch that manages the power to the charging port. The switch may reduce wasted energy consumption due to heat lost at the charging port.
