SYSTEM FOR SIMULATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENERGY
Disclosed is a device that utilizes a light-field display to project a virtual continuum of real world perspectives of a natural scene to a plurality of observer viewpoints to simulate a natural environment. An observer perceives different perspectives as he or she moves through the simulated environment just like the observer would as if he or she were in a natural environment.
TARGET DOT SIGHT HAVING TARGET ILLUMINATION SENSOR
A target dot sight includes a target illumination sensor that senses the amount of illumination at a target, rather than merely sensing the ambient sight of the entire operating environment. Then, based on the sensed target illumination, the target dot sight may automatically compensate for the brightness of the target.
Light assembly with a multi-branched light guide device
A multi-branched light guide device for a light assembly includes first, second, and third braches each adapted to internally transmit respective portions of a plurality of lights rays along respective directions. The branches each include a respective outer surface adapted to internally reflect the respective portions in the respective directions. A trunk of the device is connected to the branches, and is adapted to internally transmit the plurality of light rays against the outer surfaces of the branches.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGE PORT ILLUMINATION MODULE
A charge port module for an electric vehicle (EV) includes a charge port body having a first side, a second side, and an interface for mounting to an EV body. The module also includes a receptacle on the charge port body first side and configured to accept a charging plug. The module additionally includes an electrical connector on the charge port body second side, in electrical communication with the receptacle, and configured to engage an EV electrical system. The first side of the charge port body defines a channel. The module also includes a cartridge configured to slidingly engage the channel. The cartridge includes a cartridge body defining an access opening configured to facilitate charging plug access to the receptacle after the cartridge has engaged and has seated in the channel. A light element is arranged on the cartridge body and configured to illuminate the receptacle.
LIGHT STRING PACKAGE STRUCTURE
A lighting structure including a light-transmitting cap, a wire, a light emitting diode (LED) and a transparent adhesive. Two guide pieces project in parallel and protrude from the bottom of a body of the light-transmitting cap, and an opening of the body is located between the two guide pieces. Two lugs extend from the body, and correspond to two ends of a guide trench between the two guide pieces. A soldering surface of the LED is soldered on a soldering section of the wire. The transparent adhesive wraps around the soldering section, the guide trench and the two lugs, and wraps around a light emitting surface of the LED. The light-transmitting cap covers the LED with the LED at the opening. The soldering section is located between the two guide pieces, and the transparent adhesive attaches the LED to the light-transmitting cap.
Lensless instrument cluster with integration of hard telltales and halo lighting providing a seamless display appearance
The invention is a robust lensless instrument cluster configured for installation in a vehicle. The instrument cluster comprises an outer case, a PCB and lighting structure, an inner frame, an optical bonding assembly, halo lighting portions, a seamless display comprising tell-tale indicators and gauges, and an outer visor. The instrument cluster further comprises a plurality of LEDs for compartmentalized and indirect lighting of the tell-tale indicators on the seamless display and the halo lighting portions around the edges of the seamless display. Because the instrument cluster is lensless and otherwise exposed to the environment, it comprises a seal system to prevent the ingress of water and dust into the interior components.
Interactive display device
The invention provides a bathroom fixture in the form of an electronic mirror with a touchlessly operated fluid dispenser. The device provides visual cues to assist in the touchless operation thereof.
Light fixture sign
A concealed light fixture sign includes a flange having stencil openings formed therein that define a message. A container extends from a rear surface of the flange and provides light through the stencil openings. The container is configured to be installed completely within a recess behind a mounting surface with the flange positioned substantially flush with the mounting surface. Translucent inserts positioned within the stencil openings are removable to provide access to an interior of the container after installation of the light fixture sign.
Skin material for vehicle interior
A skin material for vehicle interior is bonded to a resinous vehicle interior base. The skin material for vehicle interior includes a woven fabric woven by using synthetic resin fibers, side emission type optical fibers, and heat fusible fibers as warps or wefts. The synthetic resin fibers and the side emission type optical fibers adjacent to the synthetic resin fibers are bonded in respective longitudinal directions thereof by the heat fusible fibers. Even when a plurality of the side emission type optical fibers are woven between the adjacent synthetic resin fibers, the adjacent side emission type optical fibers may be bonded to each other in the longitudinal direction by the heat fusible fibers. The heat fusible fibers may be obtained by twisting multifilaments and heat fusion yarns having a melting point lower than that of the multifilaments, and the multifilaments remain as constituent yarns after the bonding.
PIVOTABLE ILLUMINATION DEVICE
An illumination device for a cooking apparatus, the illumination device including a light source and a light conductor rod that conducts light emitted by the light source to a cooking cavity of the cooking apparatus; a support that supports the light conductor rod at a support element of the cooking apparatus, wherein the support includes a pivot joint that supports a fixing device for the light conductor rod, so that the light conductor rod is movably supported in the support.
