Container sleeve apparatus and method of using same
A container sleeve apparatus includes an arcuate or cylindrical body that can be positioned on a cylindrical or conical container, such as a tumbler, cup, can or bottle. A transparent or translucent insert section that can be releasably attached to the sleeve body. The sleeve body can be made of a non-slip, elastic material, such as neoprene rubber. The insert section can be made of plastic, and can include a logo printed or engraved thereon. The apparatus can include a light emitting device that illuminates the transparent/translucent insert section.
IMAGE SCANNING DEVICE
An image scanning device includes a linear light source to illuminate a linear illumination position of a scan target with light, a lens body, and a sensor. The linear light source includes a light guide, a scatterer, an emitter, a stepped portion, and a light-shielding member. The stepped portion is formed, from the end surface of the transparent body along the main scan direction, on a side of the light guide that is opposite to the illumination position side of the light guide. The light-shielding member covers a portion of the emitter of the light guide, the portion including the end surface of the transparent body, and extends beyond the stepped portion in the main scan direction and has an end portion that is located out of a scan range of the sensor in the main scan direction.
LIGHT FIXTURE SIGN
A light fixture sign includes a sign message structure including letter-shaped structures. The light fixture sign includes an illumination source to generate light to be projected through a front surface of the letter-shaped structures. The light fixture sign includes at least one reflective mirror having a first surface attached over a back surface of the letter-shaped structures and a reflective surface opposite the first surface to reflect light.
Display device
The present disclosure provides a display device which includes a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight assembly. The backlight assembly includes a light diffusion component and a light emitting component optically coupled to the light diffusion component. The display device further includes a light guide component configured to direct ambient light to the light diffusion component.
CEILING MOUNTABLE LIGHT BOX SYSTEM
A lighting fixture is provided in which the fixture includes a lighting surface, a lighting fixture frame adjacent an edge of the lighting surface, a sealable compartment within the lighting fixture frame, and a removable cover for sealing the sealable compartment.
Flexible light-emitting device including conductive fiber
Provided is a flexible light-emitting device including: a light-emitting complex medium including a polymer matrix, and a nano light-emitting material dispersed therein, the light-emitting complex medium generating light via application of an electric field thereto; a plurality of first fiber electrodes extending in a first direction and disposed within the light-emitting complex medium, wherein the plurality of first fiber electrodes are arranged along a first imaginary plane and are spaced apart from each other, wherein a first voltage is applied to the plurality of first fiber electrodes; and a plurality of second fiber electrodes extending in the first direction and disposed within the light-emitting complex medium, wherein the plurality of first fiber electrodes are alternated with the plurality of second fiber electrodes, wherein a second voltage different from the first voltage is applied to the plurality of second fiber electrodes.
SYSTEM FOR SIMULATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENERGY
Disclosed is a device that utilizes a light-field display to project a virtual continuum of real world perspectives of a natural scene to a plurality of observer viewpoints to simulate a natural environment. An observer perceives different perspectives as he or she moves through the simulated environment just like the observer would as if he or she were in a natural environment.
Disinfecting Methods and Apparatus
According to one implementation an apparatus for bacterially disinfecting a surface is provided. The apparatus includes a flexible body that contains therein at least one radially emitting optical fibers that is configured to emit bacterial disinfecting light. The radially emitting fibers having an axial and/or radial freedom of movement within a channel in which it is housed inside the flexible body such that when the flexible body changes shape the axial and/or radial freedom of movement reduces the amount of tensile stress applied along the length of the radially as compared to an amount of tensile stress that would otherwise be applied to the radially emitting fiber in an absence of the axial and/or radial freedom of movement of the radially emitting fiber inside the channel.
