LIGHT CONCENTRATOR MODULE
The invention provides a lighting device (1) comprising a luminescent element (5) comprising an elongated light transmissive body (100), the elongated light transmissive body (100) comprising a side face (140), wherein the elongated light transmissive body (100) comprises a luminescent material (120) configured to convert at least part of a light source light (11) selected from one or more of the UV, visible light, and IR received by the elongated light transmissive body (100) into luminescent material radiation (8). The invention further provides such luminescent element per se.
Optical chamber, optical system and display device
An optical chamber, an optical system, and a display device are provided. The optical chamber includes: a plurality of sidewalls, including a first sidewall having at least one opening, configured to reflect light in the optical chamber; and a light path adjusting element connected with the first sidewall, wherein the orthographic projection of the light path adjusting element onto the plane where the first sidewall lies at least partially lies in the area where the opening is located, and the light path adjusting element is configured to uniformly emit the light reflected by the plurality of sidewalls to the outside.
Casino machine having emotive lighting structures
A gaming machine includes a gaming cabinet, an electronic display device, a masked area, a light source, and a diffused lighting area. The display device is within a cabinet enclosure and has an active area with an image surface, which is defined by a plurality of active edges and is configured to display images of a casino wagering game. The masked area is adjacent to the active area and lacks any display of the images of the casino wagering game. The light source is concealed from view relative to a player position and emits an initial light. The diffused lighting area is adjacent to the masked area, extends to overlap the adjacent peripheral edge of the cabinet enclosure, and includes a single diffuser that receives the initial light and transmits it towards the player.
ENERGY RELAY AND TRANSVERSE ANDERSON LOCALIZATION FOR PROPAGATION OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL, LIGHT FIELD AND HOLOGRAPHIC ENERGY
Disclosed are energy systems configured to direct energy according to a four-dimensional (4D) plenoptic function. In general, the energy systems include a plurality of energy devices, an energy relay system having one or more relay elements arranged to form a singular seamless energy surface, and an energy waveguide system such that energy can be relayed along energy propagation paths through the energy waveguide system to the singular seamless energy surface or from the singular seamless energy surface through the energy relay system to the plurality of energy devices.
Modular system
A modular system may include a plurality of magnets that may be provided to self-align a casing with an accessory. Self-alignment of the casing and the accessory may provide a secure connection of the casing with the accessory. At least one detent and at least one locking arm may mate and lock the casing against the accessory in a mounted position. The at least one detent and the at least one locking arm may unlock in an insertion position. Self-alignment may occur when a first set of magnets attracts a second set of magnets in which opposite polarities attract and automatically initiate movement of the casing towards the accessory.
Light tunnels and methods for making same
Light tunnels, methods for forming a light tunnel, and apparatuses including light tunnels are disclosed herein. A light tunnel includes a plurality of reflectors cooperatively engaging with one another by a series of notches therein. The inner edges of the reflectors are chamfered to improve ease of assembly and decrease chipping of the edges during assembly. An adhesive can be applied at junctions between the reflectors on their outer surfaces. This construction eliminates or retards light leakage and adhesive leakage.
Wireless control device assembly
A control device, such as a gateway device for a wireless load control system, has a light bar extending around a periphery of an enclosure to provide feedback to a user of the load control system, as well as to provide a pleasing aesthetic effect on the gateway device. The control device may include at least one light-emitting diode mounted to a printed circuit board inside the enclosure, a control circuit mounted to the printed circuit board and operatively coupled to the light-emitting diode for controllably illuminating the light-emitting diode, and a multi-functional mounting structure for mounting the printed circuit board inside the enclosure. The mounting structure may have at least one light-pipe structure for conducting light from the at least one light-emitting diode to the light bar. The mounting structure may have an antenna-mounting structure to which an antenna of the control device may be mounted.
