WALL PANEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A CONDUCTOR
A wall panel assembly for mounting to a support is disclosed. The support includes a support-defined communicating module that includes a support-defined counterpart of a connecting structure and a support-defined conductor. The wall panel assembly comprises a wall panel that is mountable to the support, and a wall panel assembly-defined communicating module that includes a wall panel assembly-defined counterpart of the connecting structure that is configured for releasably coupling to the support-defined counterpart of the connecting structure, and a wall panel assembly-defined conductor. In response to the releasable coupling of the wall panel assembly-defined and the support-defined counterparts of the connecting structure, the wall panel assembly-defined conductor becomes disposed in operable communication, for example, electrical communication or data communication, with the support-defined conductor. Once the coupling is released, the wall panel assembly-defined counterpart is releasably couplable to another support-defined counterpart of the connecting structure to reposition the wall panel assembly.
Slide arrangement for cable drawer
A drawer slide having first and second rails interconnected by a center rail. The center rail includes a spool configured to provide half-speed travel of the center rail relative to the travel of the first rail. The drawer slide is configured for use with a drawer assembly having a drawer and a chassis. The drawer assembly further includes a radius limiter secured to the center rail. The radius limiter travels at half-speed relative to the drawer. The radius limiter also automatically rotates relative to the travel of the drawer. The chassis includes sides including threaded backing plates, and mounting brackets. The mounting brackets include tri-lobed holes for receipt of a reciprocally shaped washer and a fastener for mounting the brackets to the chassis sides.
Sealing body for telecommunication cables
This disclosure describes a sealing body (2) for sealing a telecommunication cable in a port entry device. The sealing body has a) a passageway for receiving a section of the cable, b) a base (31) forming a first axial portion of the passageway, and c) a segmented tubular wall (40, 41), elastically deformable and radially compressible, forming an adjacent second axial portion of the passageway.
Optical module
An optical module that has a structure ensuring reduction in size. The optical module has a structure where a part of a fiber block is protruded from a housing. By including a thin plate, this optical module can avoid entering of dust in the housing, allows a position shift of the fiber block due to a mounting position error of an optical component in the housing, a position shift of an opening portion due to a dimensional error of the housing, or a displacement due to a temperature change, and can reduce the coupling loss due to the optical axis misalignment.
OPTICAL FIBER CABLES SUBSTANTIALLY FREE OF COLORANT
An optical fiber cable having reduced or minimal colorant may include a plurality of optical fiber components and a jacket formed around the plurality of optical fiber components. Each optical fiber component may include at least one optical fiber and a buffer layer surrounding the at least one optical fiber. The respective buffer layers may be free of colorant, and physical indicia may be selectively formed as surface variations on a suitable number of buffer layers to facilitate identification of the plurality of optical fiber components. The jacket may include one or more polymeric materials that are not blended or compounded with any colorant.
FIBER PISTONING SOLUTION
Fiber pistoning apparatus and methods of use are provided. A fiber anti-pistoning apparatus includes an axial centerline, and an elongate main body that at least partially surrounds the axial centerline and extends from a first end to a second end of the elongate main body. The elongate main body defines a channel that extends along the axial centerline for housing a bundle of fibers. The channel extends between a first opening at the first end, a second opening at the second end, and a slotted opening between the first end and the second end for receiving the bundle of fibers. The elongate main body includes one or more retention features for coupling to a first buffer tube.
Optical fiber management systems; and methods
Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to handheld tools for assisting in routing optical fiber, and including advantageous features and methods usable with handheld tools. Disclosed features and techniques relate to: a splicing station, a spool, a groove plate; a substrate; a fiber management device; a tool; and flexible organizers.
Deformable carrier for an elongate light guide in a vehicle
A deformable carrier assembly adapted to hold an elongate light guide in a vehicle, the deformable carrier assembly including: a first component adapted to receive and retain a first portion of the elongate light guide and including a break-away pin at an end thereof; and a second component adapted to receive and retain a second portion of the elongate light guide and including a loop structure at an end thereof; wherein the loop structure is adapted to engage the break-away pin and couple the first component to the second component; and wherein the break-away pin is adapted to be sheared off of the end of the first component and decouple the first component from the second component when a lateral force is applied to one or more of the first component and the second component.
BRACKET ARRANGEMENT FOR CABLE TROUGH SYSTEM
A bracket system mounts to a ladder rack for positioning a fiber trough system above the ladder rack. The bracket arrangement includes a bridge with a slider bar that allows for multiple positions of the fiber trough system relative to the ladder rack in a horizontal direction.
