Reversible Spring Assembly
A reversible spring assembly is coupled to a bed frame and capable of being inverted from a first position to a second position without detaching the assembly from the bed frame. In one embodiment, the spring assembly includes top and bottom springs arranged in rows within a frame with one or more rigid support bars disposed between the rows of springs. If the user wishes to adjust the position of the assembly in the bed frame (e.g., to create a loft-style configuration), the user need only invert the bed such that the assembly previously positioned at in a right-side-up position at the bottom of the frame is positioned in an inverted position at the top of the frame.
BED
Systems are disclosed that include: a mattress on a horizontal support, a vertical support for supporting the mattress, a container, and an element for guiding the container with respect to the mattress.
Adjustable support legs for a mattress foundation
Mattress assemblies including static and adjustable mattress foundations generally include a foundation frame including side frame members and transverse frame members attached at respective ends by a corner bracket at each of the respective ends to define a generally rectangular shape. An adjustable support leg coupled to each one of the corner brackets for automatically elevating the foundation frame relative to ground. The adjustable support leg can include an outer tubular member fastened to an interior facing portion of the corner bracket including an end cap, wherein the end cap includes an aperture. A motorized linear actuator can be coupled to the outer tubular member, which can include a motor and an extendible portion coupled to the motor. The extendible portion is configured to selectively retract from and extend through the end cap to change the elevation of the foundation frame relative to ground.
Bed frame designed for quick assembly
The present invention is directed to a bed frame designed for quick assembly. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention may comprise a wire lattice that forms the support surface for a mattress and, if necessary, box springs. The wire lattice can be secured to a perimeter frame using brackets which hook onto the lattice and also attach to the sides of the frame. The bed frame may include vertical supports or legs that can be quickly attached to the frame. Each leg may include an attachment plate and a catch extending above the attachment plate. The leg can be secured to the bed frame by sliding the attachment plate into a receiver attached to the bed frame. As the attachment plate is being inserted, the catch may engage a series of corrugations formed in the receiver. The catch may press against a corrugation to lock the leg into the receiver.
Compressible foam foundation for mattress support
A foundation for a mattress is formed from one or more single-layer, unitary foam blocks with supports that extend across each foam block's bottom side. The supports provide crosswise support across a bed frame and can be directly attached to the foam block or may be provided in a kit or separately sourced. The foam block is rigid enough to support a mattress and is compressible so it has a compressed configuration and an expanded configuration, and its bottom side may have channels for the supports. In the compressed configuration, the foundation may be folded and vacuum-sealed in a plastic membrane which provides benefits for storing, shipping, and delivering the foundation. When the foundation is delivered to its place of use, the compressed foundation is removed from its packaging, allowing the foam block to return to its expanded configuration.
Structure of inflatable bed
An improved structure of inflatable bed includes: an inflatable mattress having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a lateral side structure that has upper and lower edges respectively connected to edges of the upper and lower surfaces so that the inflatable mattress is formed with an air charging space, the lateral side structure including a first charging valve in communication with the air charging space, the air charging space being provided therein with a Drop-stitching construction fabric having upper and lower ends respectively connected to the upper and lower surfaces; and an inflatable frame including at least one inflatable tubular body and outer layer cloth covering the inflatable tubular body. The inflatable tubular body includes a second charging valve. The inflatable frame is positioned on a bottom side of the inflatable mattress. The inflatable frame includes elastic braided bands to prevent undesired outward expansion of the inflatable frame after inflation.
Hybrid bed foundation assembly
A hybrid bed foundation assembly for quick and easy set up. The hybrid bed foundation assembly includes a frame assembly including elongated side members, elongated end members, elongated cross members and elongated brace members; a bracket assembly interconnecting the side members to the end members, the cross members to the side members and the brace members to the end members.
Assemblable Mattress Support Whose Side Panels and Footboard Fit Inside The Headboard
An assemblable mattress support can be shipped with all of its components compactly packed into the headboard. The mattress support includes a foldable longitudinal bar, a lateral bar, side panels, wooden slats, block legs and a footboard, all of which fit inside a compartment in the headboard. In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.
System and method for raising a bed off the floor
An apparatus includes a plurality of base plates structured to be positioned on a surface, and a bed frame comprising a plurality of rails configured to receive a bed thereon. A lifting assembly is coupled to each of the base plates and the bed frame. The lifting assembly includes a plurality of lifting members pivotally coupled to base plates and the plurality of rails of the bed frame. A securing mechanism selectively secures at least a portion of the lifting members in a fixed position. The lifting assembly is movable between a first configuration in which the plurality of rails of the bed frame, and thereby the bed positioned thereon, is positioned proximate to the surface, and a second configuration in which the plurality of rails of the bed frame and, thereby the bed are raised off the surface.
Connecting structure and bed frame having same
A bed frame includes outer lateral and longitudinal bar units, each having a first end and a second end. Each of first, second, third, and fourth longitudinal bar units includes an upper longitudinal bar and a lower longitudinal bar. The first ends of the first and second longitudinal bar units are rotatably connected with each other. The first ends of the third and fourth longitudinal bar units are rotatably connected with each other. Of each respective longitudinal bar unit, the second end of the upper longitudinal bar is movably connected with the first or second end of a corresponding lateral bar unit, and the second end of the lower longitudinal bar is fixedly connected with the first or second end of the corresponding lateral bar unit.
