10795147 · 2020-10-06 ·

A telescope remote display and control system for viewing objects through a telescope and controlling the telescope remotely includes a wearable display, a manual controller, a camera, an mechanical adjuster, and an integration system, all of which are electrically interconnected. In the preferred embodiment, the camera, mechanical adjuster, and integration system are all attached to a target telescope and tripod assembly, while the wearable display and manual controller are positioned remotely. The integration system operates as the control hub, allowing a user to view images from the telescope with the wearable display by way of signals from the camera and control the positioning of the telescope with the manual controller through manipulation of the mechanical adjuster.

In an endoscope system, a first actuator is configured to move a first optical member when a control signal is applied to the first actuator. A second actuator is configured to move a second optical member only when the control signal having a signal value greater than or equal to a predetermined value is applied to the second actuator. A signal source is configured to apply the control signal having the signal value greater than or equal to the predetermined value or the control signal having a signal value less than the predetermined value to the first actuator and is configured to apply the control signal having the signal value greater than or equal to the predetermined value to the second actuator.

Method for design and manufacturing of optics for holographic sight

A method for design and fabrication of holographic optical elements for a compact holographic sight is proposed. The method includes use of ray-trace software to design holographic elements having optical power using an intermediate hologram with parameters obtained through minimization of the merit function defining image quality.

Exemplary apparatus, systems, methods of making, and methods of using a rotary junction are provided. A rotary junction having multiple channels is provided herein. The rotary junction has a first coupling optic and a second coupling optic where the rotating optical fiber or other waveguide comping from the first coupling optic passes through the second coupling optics.

Objective optical system for endoscope

An objective optical system for endoscope consists of, in order from an object side, a first negative lens L1 which is planoconcave, and of which a flat surface is directed toward the object side, a second meniscus lens L2 having a convex surface directed toward an image side, a third positive meniscus lens L3 having a convex surface directed toward the object side, a fourth positive lens L4, and a cemented lens in which fifth positive lens L5 and a sixth negative lens L6 are cemented. Focusing is carried out by the third positive meniscus lens moving along an optical axis AX, and the following conditional expressions (1-1) and (1-2) are satisfied:
0.41<|flp/f2<1(1-1), and
0.55<d45/flp<1(1-2).

OBSERVATION IMAGING APPARATUS

An observation imaging apparatus includes an insertion unit, an imaging lens, and an image sensor. The imaging lens is disposed in such a manner that an axial principal ray of an observation subject side surface of a lens is tilted with respect to a normal line passing through the center of gravity of a section of the insertion unit, the section passing through the center of an effective imaging range of the image sensor and having the smallest area. A point on the axial principal ray at which the distance between the normal line and the axial principal ray is smallest is located on the image side relative to the observation subject side surface of the lens and on the observation subject side relative to the image sensor. The observation imaging apparatus satisfies a predetermined conditional expression.

A scanning endoscope including an optical fiber scanner that vibrates a distal end of the optical fiber that guides illumination light and emits the illumination light from the distal end thereof, a controller that conducts control for vibrating the optical fiber at a certain driving frequency set according to a resonance frequency of the optical fiber and for controlling amplitude of the vibration so as to be changed at a certain modulation frequency, and a movement detector that detects the resonance frequency of the optical fiber, wherein the controller changes the driving frequency and the modulation frequency at the same rate as the rate of change of the resonance frequency when the resonance frequency of the optical fiber detected by the movement detector changes.

Integrated variable view optical adapter for an optical scope

The present disclosure is directed to an optical adapter for an optical scope. The optical scope includes a tube defining a conduit. The optical adapter is coupled to an end of the tube. The optical adapter defines a proximate end and a distal end. The optical adapter includes a casing defining a longitudinal direction. The casing includes a first wall and a second wall, in which the first wall and the second wall define a first viewing port therebetween. The second wall defines a second viewing port. The optical adapter further includes a hinge coupled to the first wall, a reflecting lens defining a first end separated from a second end in the longitudinal direction, in which the first end is coupled to the hinge, and an actuator coupled to the first wall and to the second end of the reflecting lens. The actuator pivots the reflecting lens about the hinge from a retracted position adjacent to the first wall to an extended position toward the second wall.
