Ergonomic Surgical Loupes
20180101030 · 2018-04-12 ·

An ergonomic surgical loupe consists of a housing, an objective lens, a mirrored Littrow prism, an ocular lens, and an adjustment mechanism. Light travels through the objective lens, is reflected through the Littrow prism, passes through the ocular lens and strikes the user's eye, enabling a 60 degree viewing angle for performing dental work or similar procedures. Occupational strain on the neck and back of the user is reduced by allowing the user to maintain an upright, neutral head and back position while performing work significantly below eye level.

Examination/visualization/Collection System with Light Enhancement
20240369855 · 2024-11-07 ·

A user-wearable examination/visualization/collection system with light enhancement comprising a carrier suitable for the retention of a lighting assembly and a viewing and collection system is presented wherein images or video of objects may be collected under natural (e.g., white) light and/or non-visible light (e.g., IR, UV) conditions, processed and presented to a user on a local display. Further disclosed are lighting assemblies that provide for the light necessary to collect images different lighting conditions and optical filtering that allows for a limitation of the light viewable and collected.

Optical system for imaging an object

Optical system (10) for imaging an object includes at least: a loupe (12) including a lens (16) for magnifying the object, the lens being disposed in a frame; and a camera (14) arranged between the lens (16) of the loupe (12) and the object to image at least a portion of the same field of view as the lens (16) of the loupe (12).

Magnifying Display Device
20240411124 · 2024-12-12 ·

A magnifying display device includes a magnifying reflective mirror module configured to a load frame bracket. The magnifying reflective mirror module is provided with a reflective sheet to receive and reflect a projected image and a magnifying sheet to receive and magnify a reflected image from the reflective sheet. The reflective sheet is a dual-curved convex mirror or the magnifying sheet is a dual-curved concave mirror to provide a vertical defocus, enabling the reflected image being displayed in a vertical virtual image distance farther than in a horizontal virtual image distance, so that the reflected image is projected on an eyeball forming a defocused image in a vertical line-of-sight image area and a focused image in a horizontal line-of-sight image area.

OPTICAL SYSTEM

An optical system includes, in order from the pupil plane side to the display plane side, a first reflective polarizing plate, a first lens having a convex surface on the pupil plane side, a half mirror, a second lens having a convex surface on the display plane side, a second reflective polarizing plate, a first wavelength plate, and a second wavelength plate. The optical system satisfies:

[00001] 1 4 < r 1 / T 1 < 250 ( 1 ) 0.7 < ( D 2 / f 2 ) 1 0 0 < 5. ( 2 )

where r1 is the paraxial radius of curvature of a surface of the first lens on the pupil plane side, T1 is the distance on an optical axis from a surface of the first lens on the display plane side to a surface of the second lens on the pupil plane side, D2 is the thickness of the second lens L2 on the optical axis, and f2 is the focal length of the second lens.

GLASSES-FREE 3D DISPLAY DEVICE
20170212360 · 2017-07-27 ·

Provided is a glasses-free 3D display device capable of implementing a 3D image by directly forming a left image and a right image of an object on a left eye and a right eye, and including: an ocular lens having a curved structure in which a convex portion bulges outwards from a center of the ocular lens, and of which a horizontal length is longer than an interpupillary distance of a user; and a pair of achromatic prisms placed at front sides of a left curved surface and a right curved surface of the convex portion, wherein the achromatic prisms enable optical paths to be corrected so that chromatic aberration, a change in optical axis, and nonlinear distortion are corrected, and the corrected images are magnified and formed on the retina of the eyes while passing through the ocular lens, and thus adjustment of the interpupillary distance is unnecessary.

Portable magnifying assembly

A portable magnifying assembly includes an external electronic device that may display an image. A bellows has a top end, a bottom end and a peripheral wall extending therebetween. The top end is open and the bellows are substantially hollow. The bottom end may be positioned on a support surface and the bellows may be positioned in an extended position. A magnifying plate is removably positioned on the bellows thereby facilitating the magnifying plate to magnify the image displayed on the external electronic device when the bellows is positioned in the extended position.

Water Window

Portable modular unit for inspecting in a timepiece the presence of a lubricating agent or of an epilame

A portable modular unit for inspecting in a timepiece the presence of a lubricating agent, or of an epilame, having fluorescent markers, from an excitation luminous flux of white light. The modular unit includes an optical housing forming a first module, a portable white light source (200) emitting an excitation luminous flux forming a second module, and a portable magnifying device forming a third module. The optical housing includes a first mounting interface for removably mounting the portable white light source on the optical housing, the first mounting interface being configured so that the excitation luminous flux emitted by the portable white light source is directed in the direction of the excitation filter; and a second mounting interface for removably mounting the portable magnifying device on the optical housing, the second mounting interface being configured so that the magnifying device is opposite the inspection opening.
