MULTIFUNCTIONAL MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR WRAP-AROUND EYEGLASS FRAMES
An optical mounting assembly is adapted for use with wrap-around type eyeglass frames of the type that utilize a single sheet of curved lens material to form right and left lenses which may carry through-the-lens or TTL oculars or loupes. The optical mounting assembly may attach to an existing pair of wrap-around type eyeglass frames, or the invention may include the frames. The bridge portion of the frames and the lens material are sandwiched between front and rear components, with a nose pad component coupled to the rear component. The nose pad component may comprise a pair of bendable wire arms covered with, or terminating in, cushioning material. An illuminator or video camera may couple to the front component. The rear component may be adapted to receive an optical accessory such as a light-blocking or light-admitting filter material.
COMFORT FIT SLIP-RESISTANT EYEWEAR SYSTEM
An anti-slip eyewear system comprising a nosepiece configured to couple to a bridge of an eyewear frame, the nosepiece comprising a core comprised of a first material and an outer layer at least partially surrounding or overlapping the core and comprised of a second material, the second material having a lower durometer than the first material, wherein the second material creates a plurality of Schallamach waves on an outer surface of the nosepiece when the outer layer of the nosepiece is in contact with at least a portion of a face of a user. The first material may have a durometer greater than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale and the second material may have a durometer less than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale.
EYEWEAR SYSTEM HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE DECLINATION ANGLE
An eyewear system comprising an eyewear frame comprising a first side bow component and a second side bow component, an auxiliary frame comprising an auxiliary top bar, an auxiliary first side bow component and an auxiliary second side bar component, the auxiliary first side bow component and the auxiliary second side bow component pivotally coupled to the first side bow component and the second side bow component, respectively. The system further comprises a declination angle adjuster positioned proximal a bridge of the eyewear frame, the declination angle adjuster comprising a rotatable member therein, and a vertical extension member extending from the eyewear frame and at least partially into the declination angle adjuster, the vertical extension member configured to engage the rotatable member within the declination angle adjuster.
Magnetic attachment mechanism for eyewear
Interchangeably lenses and attachment assemblies for eyewear with removable temples are described. An example attachment assembly for removably magnetically attaching an eyewear temple to a lens may include a magnetic latch having a first latch portion and a second latch portions movably (e.g., pivotably) coupled to the temple. The first and second latch portions may be configured to be positioned on opposite sides of the lens by a carrier. The first and second latch portions may be configured to magnetically attract one another in a magnetic attraction direction. The carrier may be configured to restrict movement of at least one of the first and second latch portions in a second direction opposite the magnetic attraction direction.
GLASSES
Glasses have a groove provided in a vertical direction on a bridge of a glasses frame. A support section of a nose pad of the glasses is connected to an end portion of a positioning section of the nose pad, the positioning section is slidably disposed in the groove, and the positioning section has a plurality of locking slots and a limiting slot. An adjustment mechanism of the glasses is disposed at the glasses frame, and a pressing member of the adjustment mechanism is disposed perpendicular to the groove, where one end of the pressing member protrudes from one side of the groove, and the other end penetrates through the groove and the limiting slot. A positioning member of the adjustment mechanism is connected to the other end of the pressing member. The positioning member moves from a positioning position to a release position by pushing of the pressing member.
EYEGLASSES HAVING A SNAP-ON ONE-PIECE LENS
A pair of eyeglasses includes a primary lens, a primary lens frame including upper and lower frame sections, and at least one snap-on unit disposed between the primary lens and the primary lens frame and including upper and lower engaging members respectively provided on top and bottom portions of the primary lens, and upper and lower engaging blocks respectively protruding from the upper and lower frame sections toward the primary lens. The top and bottom portions of the primary lens are removably embedded in the upper and lower frame sections through snapping engagement between the upper engaging block and the upper engaging member and between the lower engaging block and the lower engaging member.
Nose pad structure and head-mounted device using the same
A nose pad structure suited for a head-mounted device is provided. The nose pad structure includes a first nose pad and a second nose pad. The first nose pad has a first fixing portion assembled to the head-mounted device and a first free portion. The second nose pad has a second fixing portion assembled to the head-mounted device and a second free portion being movably overlapped with the first free portion. When a user wears the head-mounted device, the first and the second nose pads cover and contact the user's nose, and an overlapping status of the first and the second free portions is adjusted according to the user's nose shape.
Nasal mask structure for eyeglasses
A nasal mask structure for eyeglasses is disclosed herein. It comprises a main body having a clamping part corresponding to a bridge of the eyeglasses and two engaging parts at two sides thereof for connecting two frames of the eyeglasses.
EYEGLASSES
Provided are eyeglasses with a reduced total weight achieved by a reduction in the weight of nose pads. In the eyeglasses of the present invention, a through hole is provided in each nose pad, the through hole extending in the thickness direction of the nose pad. The through hole is preferably provided in a central portion of the nose pad, and is of a size such that, when the nose pad is viewed from the front, the through hole occupies a space that is about 10 to 80%, preferably 20 to 60%, and more preferably 30 to 50% of the nose pad. The nose pads are made of a rubber-like synthetic resin.
ADJUSTABLE NOSE BRIDGE AND GLASSES HAVING SAME
An adjustable nose bridge includes a mounting body and a nose bridge frame. The nose bridge frame includes a main body, an elastic member, and an adjusting member. Two ends of the elastic member respectively resiliently abut the main body and the mounting body. The adjusting member is telescopically coupled to the mounting body and fixes a position of the main body.
