A frame of eyeglasses lens is described comprising a ring, to accommodate the perimeter of the lens, with two free clampable ends for closing the ring and tightening it around a lens. a temple rod (50) and a hinge for the rod (50) formed by a hooked or curved portion, comprised at an end of the rod (50), configured to slidingly grip onto the outer surface of the first member.

MOISTURE-RESISTANT EYE WEAR

Eyewear including an optical functional member, control electronics, and a sealed electrical connective element connecting the electronics to the optical functional member. The connective element can directly connect the electronics to the optical functional member, or can connect through an intermediate contact, e.g., a plug-and-receptacle. The connective element can be routed from the electronics, around a rimlock of the eyewear to the optical functional member. The connective element can be a conductive compressible member, such as conductive rubber. In some embodiments, the connective element can be a multiconductor cable.

Examples of the present disclosure are related to systems and methods associated with glasses. More specifically, embodiments are related to glasses with separable arms with a triangular shaped support, wherein a first portion of an arm is separable from a second portion of the arm at a location that substantially aligns with a user's temple.

Wearable device and electrical connector with magnetic attraction

A wearable device and an electrical connector with magnetic attraction are provided. The wearable device includes a first body and a second body. The first body has a first pivotal structure and two inner walls respectively provided with a first magnetic attraction member and a plurality of first terminal structures. The second body has a second pivotal structure, and is provided with a second magnetic attraction member and a plurality of second terminal structures. When the second pivotal structure is pivotally connected to the first pivotal structure, the second body is rotatable relative to the first body, and the first and second magnetic attraction members are moved by following the first and second bodies. When the first and second magnetic attraction members are magnetically attracted to each other so as to fix the first body and the second body, the first terminal structures contact the second terminal structures.

Screwless hinges for eyewear

A screwless hinge system for connecting a temple to a front frame portion of eyewear includes a hooked tab with a single hook and a base. The hooked tab extends through the front frame portion and a u-spring until the base engages the frame. A temple receiver of a temple compresses the u-spring and engages the single hook, allowing for opening and closing of the temple and removal and replacement of the temple without tools.

ENDPIECE ASSEMBLIES FOR EYEGLASSES

Endpiece assemblies for eyeglass frames and eyeglasses are shown and disclosed. In one embodiment, the endpiece assembly includes an elongate body having a channel partially defined by an elongate bottom wall of the elongate body. The elongate body adapted to be attached to, or formed with, a temple of the eyeglass frame. The endpiece assembly additionally includes an intermediate member having first and second end portions and a first central portion therebetween. The first central portion and the second end portion are received in the channel and the first end portion adapted to connect to a connecting bar of the frame front of the eyeglass frame. The endpiece assembly further includes a first plurality of magnets disposed within the channel.

EYEWEAR WITH MULTI-AXIS SIDE ARMS
20220004021 · 2022-01-06 ·

A joint for coupling a side arm to a frame of a pair of glasses. The joint includes a post, a plurality of prongs, and optionally a nut. The post is configured to be secured to one of the side arm or the frame and the plurality of prongs are configured to be secured to the other of the side arm or the frame. The post includes a shaft and an enlarged head at a distal end of the shaft. The plurality of prongs define a socket configured to receive at least a portion of the enlarged head of the post and apply a compressive force against the enlarged head of the post. The nut may be configured to generate a compressive force against the plurality of prongs. The compressive force may be adjusted by threading the nut along the length of the prongs. The nut may threadably engage a base that the prongs extend from and/or the prongs.
