Hybrid pillow
A hybrid pillow includes a first coil panel and a second coil panel which are joined along peripheral edges to form an inner shell defining a gap therebetween. The first coil panel is formed of a plurality of coil springs, an upper fabric layer, and a lower fabric layer, with the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the first coil panel. The second coil panel is formed of a second plurality of coil springs, a second upper fabric layer, and a second lower fabric layer, with the second upper fabric layer and the second lower fabric layer joined between the plurality of coil springs and along peripheral edges of the second coil panel. A support material disposed in the gap of the inner shell, and one or more additional layers disposed about the inner shell.
INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION SPRING ASSEMBLY
A spring assembly is provided that includes a plurality of first strings of springs and a plurality of second strings of springs. Each of the first strings are joined to at least another one of the first strings or one of the second strings. Each of the first strings includes first and second plies of fabric that define a plurality of pockets formed along a length of the first string. The pockets are formed by vertical seams that join the plies. The vertical seams each include an upper slit that extends through a top surface of the first string and a lower slit that extends through a bottom surface of the first string. Each of the pockets have at least one spring positioned therein.
Pocketed spring unit and method of manufacture
A resilient unit has strings of individual coil springs (not shown) inside pockets 120 are arranged in an array. The strings together form a spring unit and are each secured to a common cover sheet S, which comprises a non-woven elastic fabric. It is welded ultrasonically or thermally whilst under tension in one or both of its major dimensions—i.e. in-plane—to the pockets 120, the material of which is substantially inelastic and non-woven. In this example the welds, labelled W, are located substantially centrally with respect to the generally circular end surfaces of the pockets.
Foldable tension spring mattress
A foldable tension spring mattress, wherein a vertical pressure is converted into a tension by means of a wrapping blanket; the tension acts on the periphery of a spring net and is converted into a pulling force acting on coil springs and penetrating springs; and then the pulling force is uniformly dispersed to each of the coil springs, so that the local overstressing of the coil springs and the penetrating springs is avoided, thereby preventing the spring net and the penetrating springs from being arched and sunken. As a result, the mattress may keep good elasticity all the time, which further increases the comfort level of the spring mattress. The present solution may alleviate the plastic deformation of the coil springs to further increase the comfort level of the spring mattress and improve the elasticity and durability of the spring mattress.
INTEGRATED FAN ASSEMBLY FOR BEDS
A mattress having a first layer with a first layer top and bottom extending from a first edge to a second edge, a first side rail proximate the first edge, a second side rail proximate the second edge, additional layers positioned under the first layer bottom between the first side rail and the second side rail, and a first air module that creates airflow, positioned between the first side rail and at least one of the additional layers. The first air module can draw air from the first layer and direct exhaust air between the first side rail and the second layer. The mattress can define a first channel between the first side rail and the second layer that can permit flow of the exhaust air. The second layer can define a layer recessed portion at a side of the second layer that is adjacent to the first side rail.
MATTRESSES INCLUDING SPACER FABRIC AND RELATED METHODS
A mattress assembly includes a base core layer and an inner core located over the base core layer. The inner core includes coil springs. The mattress assembly also includes a side panel assembly located around a perimeter of the inner core. The side panel assembly includes a spacer fabric located over and transverse to the base core layer. The spacer fabric includes a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and an inner fibrous material located therebetween. Methods of forming the mattress assembly are disclosed.

Hollow Tubular Center Bulging Foam Spring
A hollow tubular foam spring having a plurality of radially extending holes extending from an outer surface towards a central hollow core. The tubular foam spring is arranged with wall thickness and diameter to height ratios such that center bulging is achieved under compressive loads. In an embodiment, such as in a mattress, seat, cushion or pillow, springs are arranged in an array whereby some impinge upon one another due to central bulging.
Mattresses including spacer fabric and related methods

The mattress assembly also includes a side panel assembly located around a perimeter of the inner core. The side panel assembly includes a spacer fabric located over and transverse to the base core layer. The spacer fabric includes a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and an inner fibrous material located therebetween. Methods of forming the mattress assembly are disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF SENSING INDEPENDENT SPRING SUPPORT
A support structure and vertical isolation structure may include a plurality of spring coils and a mesh network. Each spring coil of the plurality of spring coils includes a spring, a cap, and a floating connector. The cap is configured to engage the spring. The floating connector is disposed in a middle of the spring. The mesh network secures a first spring coil of the plurality of spring coils to a second spring coil of the plurality of spring coils by passing through the floating connector of each of the first spring coil and the second spring coil.
