Custom photolithography masking via precision dispense process
Systems and methods for custom photolithography masking via a precision dispense apparatus and process are disclosed. Methods include creating a toolpath instruction for depositing opaque onto a substrate, programming a precision dispense apparatus to execute the created toolpath instruction, and causing the precision dispense tool to deposit opaque material onto the substrate to form the photomask. The substrate may be an optically transparent plate or film or may be an electronic substrate where the opaque material is deposited directly onto a photoresist coating. Capabilities of the systems and methods disclosed herein extend to 3D substrates and custom photolithography masking, among others.

A method for generating and updating position distribution graph comprises: generating a position distribution graph according to a circuit bitmap and an exposure pattern, performing an exposure simulation according to the position distribution graph to generate an exposure result graph, comparing the circuit bitmap with the exposure result graph to generate a plurality of error distribution candidate graphs, selecting one of the error distribution candidate graphs to serve as an error distribution graph, and performing a zero-one integer programming to update the position distribution graph according to the circuit bitmap and the error distribution graph, wherein the updated position distribution graph is associated with the error distribution graph.
Method for optical transmission of a structure into a recording medium
A method for optical transmission of a structure into a recording medium which can be transformed locally from a first undefined state into a second defined state by irradiating with photons from a photon source. The two states of the recording medium are manifested in different physical and/or chemical properties of the recording medium. At least one photon source having a photon flux of less than 10.sup.4 photons per second is selected for the irradiation with the photons. It was recognized that with such a low photon flux especially fine structures can advantageously be transmitted into the recording medium without the irradiation having to be partially blocked by a mask. In this manner, for a given wavelength (energy) of the photons, structures can be transmitted that are considerably smaller than the width, defined by the diffraction limit, of the probability distribution for the locations at which the emitted photons are incident.
Method for producing a structure
The invention relates to a method for producing a structure in a lithographic material, wherein the structure in the lithographic material is defined by means of a writing beam of an exposure device, in that a plurality of partial structures are written sequentially, wherein for writing the partial structures a write field of the exposure device is displaced and positioned sequentially and that a partial structure is written in the write field in each case, and wherein for positioning of the write field a reference structure is detected by means of an imaging measuring device. For calibration of the write field in the respectively positioned write field, before, during or after writing a partial structure, at least one reference structure element assigned to this partial structure is produced in the lithographic material with the writing beam, wherein the reference structure element after the displacement of the write field is detected by means of the imaging measuring device for writing a further partial structure.
EXPOSURE METHOD, EXPOSURE EQUIPMENT AND 3-D STRUCTURE
An exposure method is provided. The exposure method includes coating a photo-curable material on a substrate, and exposing a portion of the photo-curable material by providing a first light source through an optical fiber to form a first photo-cured material. The optical fiber includes a light output end and a cone portion that tapers toward the light output end. The photo-curable material not exposed by the first light source is removed while leaving the first photo-cured material. Exposure equipment for performing the exposure method and a 3-dimensional structure formed thereby are also described.

In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, a method of patterning can include dividing an image into a set of frame sections; determining a tip pattern for a respective portion of an image to be patterned by each tip of the tip array in each frame section of the set of frame sections; disposing the tip array in a patterning position in a first location of the substrate corresponding to a location of the substrate in which the first frame section in the set of frame sections is to be patterned; projecting a first pattern of radiation onto the tip array to selectively irradiate one or more tips of the tip array and pattern the substrate, wherein the first pattern of radiation corresponds to a tip pattern for the first frame section; disposing the tip array in a patterning position in a second location of the substrate corresponding to a location of the substrate in which the second frame section in the set of frame sections is to be patterned; projecting a second pattern of radiation onto the tip array to selectively irradiate tips of the tip array and pattern the substrate, wherein the second pattern of radiation corresponds to a tip pattern for the second frame section; and repeating the disposing and projecting for each frame section in the set of frame sections to pattern the image.
