C. of 100000 to 250000 Pa.Math.s, the external additives are small size silica particles hydrophobized and barium titanate particles hydrophobized, and the barium titanate particles have an average primary particle size of 20 to 40 nm and a coverage of 2 to 7% for the toner core particles.

There is provided a toner for developing electrostatic images, including an external additive and colored resin particles containing a binder resin, a colorant and softening agents. The colored resin particles contain a monoester compound A represented by formula (1) and a monoester compound B represented by formula (2) as softening agents. A content of the monoester compound A is in the range from 95 to 99% by mass, a content of the monoester compound B is in the range from 1 to 5% by mass, and a content of the softening agents is in the range from 10 to 30 parts by mass, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the binder resin. A toner package includes activated carbon and a toner composition. The toner composition includes toner particles and toner particle surface additives disposed on the toner particles. An amount of activated carbon present in the toner package is sufficient to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
