A printing system includes a printing unit configured to print an image on a sheet, a receiving unit configured to receive an adjustment value from a user, first and second adjustment units, and a control unit. The first adjustment unit conveys the sheet on which the image is printed by the printing unit to a reading apparatus, and performs a first adjustment based on an image read by the reading apparatus. The second adjustment unit performs a second adjustment based on the adjustment value received by the receiving unit. The control unit prevents the first adjustment from being performed for a sheet of a size where the first adjustment is not properly performed among sheets for the printing unit to print an image on. The control unit does not prevent the second adjustment from being performed for the sheet of the size where the first adjustment is not properly performed.

An abnormal state detection device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires an image imaging a device that outputs an abnormal state using an LED; an analysis unit that analyzes the abnormal state of the device based on the light emission pattern of the LED in the image, and generates auxiliary information indicating the abnormal state based on the analysis result; and a display control unit that outputs the auxiliary information to a display unit.

Sheet accommodating apparatus and image forming apparatus

A sheet accommodating apparatus includes an apparatus body, a first cassette to be drawn out in a draw-out direction with respect to the apparatus body, a second cassette disposed adjacent to the first cassette in a vertical direction, a holder member attached to the apparatus body, and a first light emitting member and a second light emitting member that are supported by the holder member. The first cassette includes a first accommodating container and a first cover. The second cassette includes a second accommodating container and a second cover. The first cover has a first hole in a position opposing the first light emitting member such that the light emitted from the first light emitting member passes therethrough. The second cover has a second hole provided in a position opposing the second light emitting member such that the light emitted from the second light emitting member passes therethrough.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS RESTRICTING USAGE OF NON-SPECIFIC-COLOR CARTRIDGE
20230092805 · 2023-03-23 · ·

In an image forming apparatus, a controller performs processes in accordance with an operation mode settable to one of a first subscription mode and a second subscription mode. The first subscription mode corresponds to a first subscription in which a specific-color cartridge is a subscription subject and a non-specific-color cartridge is not the subscription subject. The second subscription mode corresponds to a second subscription in which both the specific-color cartridge and the non-specific-color cartridge are the subscription subject. The controller performs restricting usage of the non-specific-color cartridge in a case where the first subscription mode is set as the operation mode and the type information of the non-specific-color cartridge indicates the subscription type, compared to a case where the second subscription mode is set as the operation mode and the type information of the non-specific-color cartridge indicates the subscription type.
