The sheet feeding tray cover includes a user interface for inputting information into a controller unit or outputting information from the controller.

Provided is an image forming apparatus including a printer controller configured to form an image on a sheet, a storage unit configured to store a plurality of adjustment conditions for adjusting a position on the sheet at which the image is to be formed, and a CPU. The CPU selects one of the plurality of adjustment conditions, adjusts the position at which the image is to be formed based on the selected adjustment condition, and causes the printer controller to form the image on the sheet.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a casing, a document reading unit, a sheet discharge unit, a sheet supporting portion, an operation unit, and a supporting unit. If a region which a plurality of the recording material occupies when a maximum number of a maximum size of a recording material supportable on the sheet supporting portion is supported is defined as an occupied region, the operation unit is disposed such that a part of the operation unit in a width direction overlaps the occupied region. An image processing system includes an image forming device, a sensor, processing circuitry, and an ejection device. The image forming device forms an image based on print information, on a first conveyance medium. The sensor acquires information about the image formed on the first conveyance medium. The processing circuitry causes a second conveyance medium to be ejected in a case where the image formed on the first conveyance medium is a defective image, based on the acquired information. The ejection device stacks the first conveyance medium and the second conveyance medium. The processing circuitry controls display of identification information that distinguishes and associates each one of a plurality of first conveyance media having defective images, with a corresponding one of a plurality of second conveyance media.

A duration measuring section measures a plurality of times. A temperature measuring section measures a temperature of a heater at each of the times. A temperature information outputting section outputs heater temperature information. A temperature tendency computing section outputs temperature tendency information of the heater. A drive controller outputs linear velocity information for controlling the linear velocity of a pressure roller. A pressure roller drive section drives the pressure roller.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to form an image on paper, an operation unit, and a controller to receive an execution signal and control the image forming unit. The operation unit includes a touch panel display to receive a touch operation by a user, and to display an execution icon to be touched by the user to enable the operation unit to transmit the execution signal to the image forming apparatus. The operation unit further includes a cable connected to the operation unit to transmit the execution signal to the controller, an exterior cover configured to form an exterior, and an insertion member disposed on a side opposite to a side where the touch panel display is disposed on an outside of the exterior cover to pass fingertips of the user through when the user operates the operation unit while holding up the operation unit.

An image forming apparatus comprising: an acceptance section; a prediction section which predicts, based on margin information contained in an instruction for execution of an accepted job, an arrangement pattern of a plurality of sheets to be obtained by the execution; a determination section which determines, based on the margin information, whether or not a sum of respective areas of margin regions of the plurality of sheets is greater than a threshold associated with the predicted arrangement pattern; and an adjusted printing section which downscales, in response to a determination that the sum is greater than the threshold, an overall image consisting of a set of partial images intended to be formed and arranged in the predicted arrangement pattern, in such a manner as to fall within one or more sheets arranged in an altered arrangement pattern, and forms the downscaled image on the one or more sheets.

Provided is an image-forming device with which it is possible to achieve a smaller size while suppressing a reduction in visibility or operability of an operation panel. In this image-forming device, paper sheets are discharged from the rear side of the device toward the front side of the device, and the image formation device is provided with: a paper-sheet-loading unit in which the paper sheets are loaded; an operation panel disposed on the downstream-side end in the paper sheet discharge direction of the paper-sheet-loading unit, at least a part of the operation panel being disposed in a loading region of the paper-sheet-loading unit; and a protruding part disposed to the side of the operation panel in the loading region, the protruding part protruding upward from the top surface of the paper-sheet-loading unit, and extending in the paper sheet discharge direction.

An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a developer bearing member, a discharge unit, a stacking tray including a stacking surface on which the recording material is stacked, a replenishment port, a cover capable of moving between a closed position where the cover covers the replenishment port and constitutes at least part of the stacking surface and an open position where the cover exposes the replenishment port, and an information display unit for displaying information about a procedure for replenishing the developing container with the developer from the replenishment container.
