Image forming system, inspection device, and inspection method
An image processing system includes an image forming device, a sensor, processing circuitry, and an ejection device. The image forming device forms an image based on print information, on a first conveyance medium. The sensor acquires information about the image formed on the first conveyance medium. The processing circuitry causes a second conveyance medium to be ejected in a case where the image formed on the first conveyance medium is a defective image, based on the acquired information. The ejection device stacks the first conveyance medium and the second conveyance medium. The processing circuitry controls display of identification information that distinguishes and associates each one of a plurality of first conveyance media having defective images, with a corresponding one of a plurality of second conveyance media.
Image forming apparatus with toner density adjustment control
An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a developing device, a control unit, and a density measuring unit. An electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of an image carrier. A developing device supplies toner to the image carrier and develops the electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier to form a toner image. The density measuring unit measures the toner density of the plurality of first patch toner images formed by the developing device. The control unit calculates a relationship between the toner density of the plurality of first patch toner images measured by the density measuring unit and the applied voltage applied to the developing device when the plurality of first patch toner images are formed, and adjusts the applied voltage based on a calculation result.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus comprising: an acceptance section; a prediction section which predicts, based on margin information contained in an instruction for execution of an accepted job, an arrangement pattern of a plurality of sheets to be obtained by the execution; a determination section which determines, based on the margin information, whether or not a sum of respective areas of margin regions of the plurality of sheets is greater than a threshold associated with the predicted arrangement pattern; and an adjusted printing section which downscales, in response to a determination that the sum is greater than the threshold, an overall image consisting of a set of partial images intended to be formed and arranged in the predicted arrangement pattern, in such a manner as to fall within one or more sheets arranged in an altered arrangement pattern, and forms the downscaled image on the one or more sheets.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
There is provided an image forming apparatus and method, in which performed are reading an image of an original document, converting a read image to raster data, raising a temperature of a fixing device to a fixing temperature, after raising the temperature of the fixing device, recording an image on the sheet on a sheet and causing the fixing device to fix the developing agent image onto the sheet. When a preview setting is enabled, after performing the converting, the preview image is displayed on the display and the raising is performed after the displaying and in response to an execution instruction of the forming. When the preview setting is not enabled, after performing a pre-heating of the fixing device so that the temperature of the fixing device is lower than the fixing temperature, performing the raising without displaying the preview image.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion, a casing, an image reading portion, a first controller substrate provided on one of side surfaces of the casing, a second controller substrate provided on the side surface, wherein a component mounting surface of the second controller substrate is in a non-overlapping position with a component mounting surface of the first controller substrate, an electric wire configured to connect the first controller portion and the image reading portion, and a shielding member fixed to the casing so as to be provided between the electric wire and the second controller substrate and configured to shield electromagnetic radiation from the second controller substrate toward the electric wire.
CONVEYANCE DETECTION APPARATUS, CONVEYING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING APPARATUS
Provided is a control unit of a conveying apparatus, the conveying apparatus including: a conveying unit that conveys recording paper along a conveyance path; an imaging unit that images the recording paper; and a light emitting unit arranged on an opposite side of the imaging unit across the conveyance path, wherein the control unit detects conveyance information of the recording paper based on image information of the recording paper imaged by the imaging unit in a state in which light from the light emitting unit is transmitted through the recording paper. The control unit detects the conveyance information of the recording paper based on a plurality of images of the recording paper imaged at different timings by the imaging unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes image bearers, motors, a reference position detector, and processing circuitry. The circuitry senses a density of a toner image on each bearer; forms an image pattern and senses, based on a detection result of the detector and a sensing result of the density, density unevenness in a rotation cycle and a phase of the density unevenness with respect to a rotational position reference of each bearer; calculates a target phase based on the phase sensed; calculates a relative phase difference based on a rotational position and the target phase of each bearer; selects, as a reference image bearer, an image bearer having a minimum phase correction value, based on a calculation result of the difference; and controls the rotational position of each of the other image bearers with respect to the reference image bearer to the phase correction value, with the motors being driven.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PAGE ORDER CHANGING PROGRAM
An image forming apparatus includes: a determination section configured to determine whether there is a possibility of generation of an image defect during a printing job for image formation on a plurality of pages based on image data included in the printing job; and a changing section configured to change an order of the pages to be subjected to image formation such that an image defect is not generated when the determination section determines that there is a possibility of generation of the image defect.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to form an image on a sheet, and an image reading unit configured to read an image from a sheet. The image forming apparatus outputs a sheet for which first processing was performed, and then output a sheet for which second processing for forming, by the image forming unit, an image of a predetermined pattern was performed. The image forming apparatus, based on a read image obtained by reading, by the image reading unit, the sheet for which the second processing was performed, obtain density correction data to be used for image formation by the image forming unit.
