ANTI-SWEEPING HOOK WITH INTEGRATED INVENTORY MONITORING AND/OR LOSS PREVENTION FUNCTIONALITY
Anti-sweeping hook with a display hook, a helical coil, and rotating handle. The display hook may be straight with a first end and second end opposite the first end. The helical coil is disposed about the display hook and extends lengthwise along the display hook. The helical coil has a first coil end proximate the first end of the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a first direction loads the retail merchandise onto the display hook. Rotation of the coil in a second direction opposite the first direction removes the retail merchandise. The rotating handle is configured to determine a number of retail items stored on the display hook, based on the number and direction of rotation of the rotating handle. The rotating handle includes an MCU and wireless communications module to process and wirelessly transmit inventory data indicating the number of retail items on the display hook.
LABEL APPARATUS FOR PEG HOOK
A label apparatus for a peg hook includes a body including a display unit displaying product information and a holder detachably provided at one end of the body and including a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion in which one end portions are rotatably connected to each other and the other end portions are attached to each other so that a catching hole is formed therebetween.
System for inventory management
Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system.
Digital price display
A digital pricing display includes a digital display unit having in interoperable communication a central processing unit, a display screen, a memory, a communication module having an antenna associated therewith, and an instruction set hosted on the memory and executable by the central processing unit, the instruction set operational to receive pricing and product information for a product and to display the product pricing and product information on the display screen. An elongate strip is attached to and extends downwardly from the digital display unit. The elongate strip has a plurality of hooks substantially in vertical alignment formed therealong; the purpose of each hook is for receiving thereon a product package corresponding to the product pricing and product information displayed by the digital display unit.
Merchandise inventory data collection for shelf systems using light sensors
Disclosed is a system for real-time measurement of inventory on shelves. The system uses light sensors placed in association with the inventory and the shelves to measure in real-time the removal/replacement of inventory from the shelves. When inventory is on the shelves, less light reaches the light sensors. As inventory is removed from shelves, the light sensors receive more light. The difference in light received generates as signal that can be measured, thereby allowing for determining inventory levels on each shelf. The system may be retro-fitted to existing shelving systems, thereby avoiding the cost of purchasing new shelving systems. The system can work on any shelving system, including gravity-feed roller shelf (GRS), flat shelves, and spring loaded pusher shelves, and is unaffected by usual temperatures found in retail establishments and can thus work in both refrigerated and unrefrigerated systems. Also disclosed are related methods.
Peg hook label apparatus
A peg hook label apparatus includes a body provided with an electronic display unit displaying product information, and a holder provided on one end of the body and configured to have a first width in a portion connected to the body, the first width being greater than a second width of a locking hook disposed on an end portion thereof.
APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING ELECTRONIC SHELF LABELS
There is disclosed an apparatus for mounting electronic shelf labels (ESLs) onto shelving, comprising: a rail having first and second grasping members adapted to receive one or more ESLs; and an installation clip integrally connected to the rail, the installation clip adapted to install the apparatus onto shelving in a plurality of configurations by either clipping onto a curved front face of shelving or snapping into a curved front face of shelving. In an embodiment, the installation clip comprises an inner wall and an outer wall flexibly joined at a knee, the inner and outer walls being resiliently flexible relative to each other and having an opening adapted to receive a front face of shelving therebetween. In another embodiment, locking features provided on the out wall allow the apparatus to be snapped into position onto a curved face of shelving having top and bottom extending ledges.
SHELF TAG ATTACHMENT APPARATUS
A shelf tag attachment apparatus (100) includes a shelf tag holding portion (103) for holding an electronic shelf tag (101), and a support member (102) that supports the shelf tag holding portion rotatably about a rotation axis P extending in a left-right direction of the electronic shelf tag (101). The shelf tag holding portion (103) includes a bearing portion for rotating about the rotation axis P relative to the support member (102). The support member (102) includes an arm portion (110) that is provided with a shaft portion (112), and that sandwiches the bearing portion from the left-right direction. The shelf tag holding portion (103) includes a stopper (130) that contacts the arm portion (110), and thereby locks in such a way that a display surface (104) of the electronic shelf tag (101) does not rotate beyond a previously determined range in a direction to face downwards.
Anti-sweep merchandise display hook
A retail display hook for merchandise packaged with a hang tab aperture includes mounting bracket with a hang bar and an access bar cantilevered therefrom. The hang bar extends outwardly along a straight portion, through an upwardly peaked portion, and followed by an upwardly angled portion. An access flap pivotally engages a distal end of the access bar, and is located above and adjacent to the distal end of the hang bar. The access flap includes an arrester extension and a blocker extension. Rotation of the access flap between a display position and an access position controls removal of merchandise to one unit at a time, requiring cyclical operation to remove more than one unit.
Signage Systems And Merchandising Display Assemblies
A merchandising display system includes a base, a pair of vertically extending uprights, and a wire frame. The wire frame is disposed in a vertically extending plane and upwardly extends from the base.
