Application system for inventory management
Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system.
Anti-Theft Merchandise Hook
An anti-theft merchandise hook that includes a top wire connected to a housing at a first end of the top wire, and to a mounting portion, used to mount the anti-theft merchandise hook to a stationary surface, at a second end of the top wire opposite the first end. A bottom wire is attached to the mounting portion and extends from the mounting portion towards the housing. The bottom wire is configured to hold retail merchandise. A hanger is at least partially disposed within the housing. The hanger is configured to move linearly between a closed position in which the hanger abuts the bottom wire, and an open position in which the hanger is spaced some distance from the bottom wire. A motor is configured to drive a rotary shaft in order to move the hanger between the closed position and the open position.

The plurality of sidewall panels further includes a first sidewall panel having at least one hook feature. A cellulosic display system includes a cellulosic display. The cellulosic display has a plurality of slots. The cellulosic display system further includes at least one cellulosic display structure. The at least one cellulosic display structure has a plurality of sidewall panels. The plurality of sidewall panels includes a central panel. The central panel has a first central surface and an opposing second central surface. The plurality of sidewall panels further includes a first sidewall panel. The first sidewall panel includes at least one hook feature. The cellulosic display structure is engageable with at least one slot of the plurality of slots of the cellulosic display.
MERCHANDISE INVENTORY DATA COLLECTION FOR SHELF SYSTEMS USING LIGHT SENSORS
Disclosed is a system for real-time measurement of inventory on shelves. The system uses light sensors placed in association with the inventory and the shelves to measure in real-time the removal/replacement of inventory from the shelves. When inventory is on the shelves, less light reaches the light sensors. As inventory is removed from shelves, the light sensors receive more light. The difference in light received generates as signal that can be measured, thereby allowing for determining inventory levels on each shelf. The system may be retro-fitted to existing shelving systems, thereby avoiding the cost of purchasing new shelving systems. The system can work on any shelving system, including gravity-feed roller shelf (GRS), flat shelves, and spring loaded pusher shelves, and is unaffected by usual temperatures found in retail establishments and can thus work in both refrigerated and unrefrigerated systems. Also disclosed are related methods.
DIGITAL PRICE DISPLAY
A digital pricing display includes a digital display unit having in interoperable communication a central processing unit, a display screen, a memory, a communication module having an antenna associated therewith, and an instruction set hosted on the memory and executable by the central processing unit, the instruction set operational to receive pricing and product information for a product and to display the product pricing and product information on the display screen. A elongate strip is attached to and extends downwardly from the digital display unit. The elongate strip has a plurality of hooks substantially in vertical alignment formed therealong, the purpose of each hook is for receiving thereon a product package corresponding to the product pricing and product information displayed by the digital display unit.
Toy or item storage, display and play system
An item storage, display, and play system is provided comprising a vertically hanging, interactive graphic artwork with item retention features. The vertically hanging, interactive graphic artwork is a multi-dimensional artwork scaled to correspond with a size of one or more items and forms a storage and display area which also functions as a play area for items. The items are integrated into one or more scenes on the vertically hanging, interactive graphic artwork. A series of strategically placed item retention features are provided on the vertically hanging, interactive graphic artwork. A device for hanging the vertically hanging, interactive graphic artwork is also provided.
Electronic shelf label mounting system and method
An apparatus, system and method for mounting and removing electronic shelf label (ESL) modules includes a channel having a first portion for receiving an ESL module and a second portion for receiving a display holder. A tool aids in removal of the ESL from the first portion and aids in removal of the display holder from the second portion. The display holder has an engagement edge that fits into the second channel and a sign gripper with a movable portion connected to a fixed portion. A peg on the movable portion extends through the sign and into a hole in the fixed portion.
MERCHANDISE DISPLAY HOOK INCLUDING ANTI-SWEEP MECHANISM
A merchandise display hook and method for dispensing one or more items of merchandise from a merchandise display hook and/or for loading one or more items of merchandise onto the display hook are provided. The display hook may include at least one rod configured to be mounted to a display fixture and to receive one or more items of merchandise thereon. The display hook may also include a helix disposed about the rod and extending at least partially along a length of the rod. The helix is configured to rotate in a dispensing direction for dispensing the one or more items of merchandise from the rod and/or an opposite loading direction for loading the one or more items of merchandise onto the rod.
System for Inventory Management
Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system. Audible and/or visual alerts can be provided when an attempted theft is detected.
