HOLOGRAPHIC DECORATED GLASS FOR SCREEN COLOR MATCHING
Exemplary systems that may reduce or eliminate the visibility of a boundary between the displaying portions of the system and the non-displaying portions of the system are disclosed. An exemplary system includes a display screen including a plurality of pixels forming a first periodic structure and a frame surrounding at least a portion of the display screen. The frame may include a holographic structure having a second periodic structure. The first pitch of the first periodic structure may be within 0.5 percent to 20 percent of the second pitch of the second periodic structure.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGE DISPLAY
A holographic display and method for operating the holographic display can include: a holographic display operable in a plurality of modes, a computing system, and a sensor. The holographic display can option include a user interface device. Views displayed by the display can optionally be processed or modified based on a viewer pose relative to the display.
SHARING NEIGHBORING MAP DATA ACROSS DEVICES
A computing device and method are provided for transmitting a relevant subset of map data, called a neighborhood, to enable mutual spatial understanding by multiple display devices around a target virtual location to display a shared hologram in the same exact location in the physical environment at the same moment in time. The computing device may comprise a processor, a memory operatively coupled to the processor, and an anchor transfer program stored in the memory and executed by the processor.
Timing control unit for controlling an illumination device with coherent light source
An illumination device has a coherent light source that emits coherent light beam, and an optical device that diffuses the coherent light beam, wherein the optical device comprises a first diffusion region that diffuses the coherent light beam to illuminate a first area, and a second diffusion region that diffuses the coherent light beam to display predetermined information in a second area.

METHOD FOR GENERATING THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE INFORMATION OF OBJECT TO BE MEASURED, DEFECT DETECTION METHOD, AND DEFECT DETECTION DEVICE
This application relates to a method of generating three-dimensional (3D) shape information of an object to be measured from an image including intensity information of an object hologram generated by interference between a reference light reflected from an optical mirror and an object light affected by the object. In one aspect, the method includes checking at least one frequency component included in the image and extracting real image components corresponding to a real image from the frequency component. The method also includes generating a correction light and a real image hologram based on the real image components, generating an intermediate hologram based on the correction light, and generating curvature aberration correction information from the intermediate hologram. The method further includes generating a correction hologram based on the curvature aberration correction information and generating the 3D shape information of the object from the correction hologram.
Holographic in-field illuminator
A system for making a holographic medium for use in generating light patterns for eye tracking includes a light source configured to provide light and a beam splitter configured to separate the light into a first portion of the light and a second portion of the light that is spatially separated from the first portion of the light. The system also includes a first set of optical elements configured to transmit the first portion of the light for providing a first wide-field beam onto an optically recordable medium and one or more diffractive optical elements configured to receive the second portion of the light and project a plurality of separate light patterns onto the optically recordable medium for forming the holographic medium.
Holographic Projectors Including Size Correction and Alignment of Beams Having Different Wavelengths of Light
A holographic projection system including first, second and third light sources, SLMs, a lens, a combiner and a control module. The first, second and third light sources generate respective light beams. The light beams have respective wavelengths. The SLMs respectively diffract the light beams. The lens is disposed to adjust a divergence angle of one of the light beams, such that diffracted light out of each of the SLMs is at a same diffraction angle. The SLMs encode phase holograms including respective versions of a graphic image based on light generated by the light sources including light output from the lens to provide phase hologram beams. The combiner combines the phase hologram beams to provide a combined phase hologram beam projected for viewing a combined graphic image. The control module encodes a prism hologram on one of the SLMs to align outputs of the SLMs.
HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTOR
A projector arranged to project an image within a display area on a display plane. The image comprises a light feature. A light sensor is spatially separated from the display plane. In an aligned state, light forming the light feature of the image on the display plane is at least partially disposed around the light sensor. In the aligned state, substantially no light forming the light feature impinges on the light sensor. The aligned state defines a selected alignment between the display area and the display plane (i.e. a selected position of the display area on the display plane).
