Device for mounting wall objects
The present invention relates to a device for mounting wall objects. The device has a vertical member and a horizontal member attached to one another along a fold line. The vertical member has a wall-facing side that engages and is secured to a wall or surface by receiving connection members through one or more mounting holes. The horizontal member, in some arrangements, has a pair of flanges that form a gap along an outer end opposite the fold line. A pair of spaced-apart support braces that form a slot extend generally down the middle between the horizontal and vertical member. The slot allows for the reception of a brace or clamp that can be held in place by inserting a locking pin through aligned sets of locking holes and through either a brace hole in the brace or a fixing hole in a transverse hole of the clamp.
Frame Hanging Guide Device
A frame hanging guide device for indicating an attachment point for a frame includes a housing that is configured to reversibly couple by a first end to a back of a frame, such as picture frame. The housing defines an interior space. The housing has a second end that is open. An indicator is positioned in the interior space. The indicator is selectively extensible from the housing. The indicator is configured to mark an attachment point on a surface as the frame is positioned in a desired location on the surface. An article of mounting hardware can be coupled to the surface at the attachment point to hang the frame.
WALL HANGING DEVICE
A wall hanging device for marking the location of wall mounting fasteners is provided. The wall hanging device intrinsically locates connection points along a wall that correspond with connection points along an article to be hung on the wall. The systemic device provides two opposing surfaces, each surface providing corresponding guide markings. Each surface also has adhesive elements so that the device can first be adhered to the article and then transferred to the wall by way of urging the article against the wall, thereby ensuring that one or more preselected connection points along the article, first associated with one surface's guide marking(s), are intrinsically located on the wall by way of the other surface's corresponding guide markings after pulling away the article, leaving the temporarily adhered device to the wall. The device also provides a foldable pocket for capturing debris resulting from the installation of the mounting fasteners.
Wall anchor assemblies
An anchor assembly for hanging an object on a wall includes a first anchor component and a second anchor component. The first anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, and at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base and has a downwardly curved configuration. The second anchor component includes a base having front, back, top, bottom, left and right sides, at least one wall penetrating retainer extending from the base of the second anchor component and having a wall penetrating extent that protrudes rearwardly of the base of the second anchor component and has a curved configuration. The second anchor component is pivotably associated with the first anchor component for movement between an anchoring orientation and a non-anchoring orientation.
Picture hanging devices and methods thereof
A picture hanging device includes a longitudinal member having a longitudinal track extending along at least a portion of a length of the longitudinal member and at least one level located within the longitudinal member. At least two alignment members are moveable along the longitudinal track, each of the at least two alignment members having a securing device configured to detachably secure the alignment members in place at a location along the longitudinal track. The at least two alignment members each have a hollow internal portion configured to receive a punch device. A method of making a picture hanging device is also disclosed.
User-friendly heavy duty dual-hooks picture frame hanger
Present invention discloses a user-friendly heavy duty dual-hooks plastic or metal hanger that has a hook-above-nail arrangement, and load capacity and structural strength equivalent to that of conventional nail-above-hook metal hanger.
Adjustable Hanger Apparatus and Method
An adjustable hanger assembly is provided that includes a slider base and a slider that can be adjusted vertically within the slider base and held in a vertical position by an engagement with the slider base. A spring provided in the slider base enables the slider to be maintained in a normally engaged, locked position. By pushing the slider in, toward to the slider base, for example, with a finger or thumb, the slider can be disengaged from the slider base and moved up or down. The assembly can also include a mounting bracket for fixedly securing the assembly to a wall. The mounting bracket can engage the slider base and can be configured to enable the slider base to be adjusted horizontally with respect to the mounting bracket. The hanger assembly can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally after being fixedly secured to a wall.
User-Friendly Heavy Duty Dual-Hooks Picture Frame Hanger
Present invention discloses a user-friendly heavy duty dual-hooks plastic or metal hanger that has a hook-above-nail arrangement, and load capacity and structural strength equivalent to that of conventional nail-above-hook metal hanger.
Picture hanging marking tool
The present invention includes methods, devices, kits, and components of an apparatus that can assist a user to identify locations of attachment points or openings on a frame and transferring those measurements to a wall for purposes of supporting a picture that is level.
BLIND SLIDE-MOUNT FASTENER ALIGNMENT APPARATUS, KIT AND METHOD
A marking apparatus facilitates blind slide-mounting of an object to a mounting surface in a desired alignment using the object as an alignment template. A retention element in receipt of a post is movable against resilient bias to allow the head of the apparatus to capture a mounting slot in the object. The resilient bias moves the retention element to a gripping position, and a cover is rotated to cause a tightening element to secure the grip of the apparatus to the object. A rotational detent element offset from the head prevents the post from rotating with respect to the retention element. When affixed to the object, the apparatus is used to mark the appropriate location for installation of a fastener to supportingly engage the slide-mount slot of the object. The apparatus may include an orthogonality adapter to ensure that it remains orthogonal to the object during certain marking operations.
