In various implementations, a cover for a smartwatch is provided that includes a housing and a flexible member (e.g., a gasket). The cover may increase user satisfaction with the smartwatch by increasing the aesthetics of the watch for the user, providing flexibility in appearance, and/or inhibiting damage to the watch itself. The gasket may secure the smartwatch in the cover, inhibit damage to the outer housing of the cover by an inner surface of the cover, and/or inhibit interference from the cover with operations of the smartwatch.

A watchcase cover has a top wall configured to reveal a watch face at a top side of a watchcase and the top wall comprising a top surface comprising decorative elements. Side walls of the case align with side walls of the watchcase and the side walls include: at least one cutout revealing a watch control positioned at the watchcase, and at least two strap apertures configured to receive a watch strap connected to the watchcase. The top wall and the side walls together define a major opening configured to receive the watchcase. The decorative elements may comprise cubic zirconia. A system for fastening a horological movement of generally circular shape in a watch case, this fastening system including a casing ring wherein the horological movement is disposed, the casing ring extending between an upper portion and a lower portion, the horological movement being fastened in the lower portion of the casing ring using a first and a second fastening device disposed at two opposite ends of a diameter of the horological movement, at least a third fastening device, angularly offset relative to the first and second fastening device and fastened in the upper portion of the casing ring, allowing the horological movement to be blocked in the casing ring.
