SEGREGATED, MULTIPLE-FILL COMFORTER
A comforter comprising at least a top and a bottom outer shell fabric panels joined together about their peripheral edges and interiorly to form at least a first portion filled with a first filling material comprising down or a down-like material, and a second portion filled with a second filling material comprising a non-down or non-down-like material, where the first portion and the second portion are segregated. In various embodiments, the first portion comprises a central area of the comforter and the second portion comprises a peripheral area of the comforter.
Bedspread System
A bedspread system includes a mattress that may be slept upon. A blanket is removably positioned on the mattress. The blanket has a pouch. The pouch engages the mattress such that the blanket is retained on the mattress. Thus, the blanket enhances an appearance of the mattress.
Combination Blanket and Headrest
A combination blanket and headrest. The combination blanket and headrest includes a casing and a fabric stored in the interior volume of the casing. An interior portion of the casing is secured to an edge of the fabric. An opening in the casing is utilized to selectively remove the fabric that is not secured to the interior volume of the casing. The opening is also utilized to selectively receive and store the fabric in a stored configuration of the combination blanket and headrest. A closure on the first edge of the opening and the second edge of the opening enables a user to selective open and close access to the interior volume of the casing. The casing also has a fastener disposed on a first exterior end and a second exterior end of the casing thereby allowing the user to secure the combination blanket and headrest in a headrest configuration.
CLOSURE FOR RELEASABLY SEALING AN AIR HOSE PORT
A retainer with a closure mechanism not removable from the retainer is bonded to each of the air inlet openings of an inflatable convective thermal blanket. The bottom surface of the retainer is bonded to the blanket so that its orifice is in alignment with the opening into the blanket. The closure may be a flexible layer or sheet that is adhesively attached to the top surface of the retainer. An end portion of the flexible layer away from the orifice of the retainer may be press or die cut into the retainer so that the flexible layer is non-removably attached to the retainer when the user peels the releasably secured portion of the flexible layer away from the retainer to expose the air inlet opening. The closure can also be an extension of the retainer that is hingedly connected to the retainer so as to be able to be moved pivotally to cover the retainer. The closure has a configuration that allows it to be releasably secured to the retainer when it covers the orifice opening of the retainer.
METALIZED FABRIC HEATING BLANKET
There is disclosed a warming blanket having a metalized fabric exterior layer and an interior heating element made of a carbon fiber mat or carbon veil. The warming blanket includes electrodes that are formed of a conductive ink which extends through the width of the carbon veil.
Therapeutic fabric article
A blanket including a first outer layer, a second outer layer and at least one linear array of weighted sections. The second outer layer is attached to the first outer layer. There is at least one channel formed between the first outer layer and the second outer layer including a first channel. The linear array of weighted sections includes a first linear array of weighted sections, and the first linear array of weighted sections is inserted into the first channel and is secured at an end of the first channel.
BREATHABLE MATTRESS PAD
Sleeping accessories such as mattress pads, mattress topper covers, and sheet savers are disclosed herein comprising integrated padded mesh material. Integrated padded mesh material, when used in the sleeping accessories, results in improved air flow for the user, which can reduce complications during sleep such as sudden infant death syndrome. The material may have one or multiple layers, and may include a moisture wicking fabric, allergy-blocking fabric, or water resistant fabric. Certain layers are padded to provide more comfort for the user and in some embodiments, the padded layer may be sloped to assist with reflux.
Multi-function garment
A multi-function garment has an inner face and an outer face. The garment may be worn as a cape via shoulder straps in the form of first and second straps attached to a first face of the garment. Unattached portions of the first and second straps are usable as the shoulder straps when attached to complementary fasteners on the respective face. In embodiments, the garment is reversible by threading the unattached portions of the straps through slits in the garment so that they can extend over either the first or the second face as desired. The garment is usable as a blanket when not being worn as a cape; e.g. by disconnecting the unattached portions of the first and second straps from the complementary fasteners.
INDUCTIVE COMFORTER
An inductive comforter has a comforter body and an inductive assembly. The inductive assembly is mounted on the comforter body and includes an inductive chip readable by a sensor. Therefore, as the inductive comforter is free from worn-off bar code or QR code, the inductive comforter will not become unreadable after use over a long time. Moreover, by using a sensor to read an inductive chip, no mechanical or optical contact between the sensor and the inductive chip is needed. Thus, the inductive chip is still readable even if the comforter has been folded and the chip has been covered. Therefore, the personnel's data-reading efficiency will be highly improved.
Breathable modal blanket
A breathable blanket may be made from a breathable mesh material to improve airflow through the blanket. The breathable blanket may include a multi-layer material having a combination of light-weight modal fabric and padding. Breathable padded mesh may also be used with the modal fabric. The padding may include a thin polyfill formed of adjacent, parallel rows. The blanket may be have a shape similar to an animal and include attachments, such as a stuffed polyfill head. Additionally, the blanket may include ornamental additions of satin to further convey the animal shape.
