FITTED ANCHOR AND SHEET SYSTEM
In embodiments, a replaceable sheet system includes an upper portion to cover a sleeping surface of a mattress, and a lower portion, to anchor to the mattress. In embodiments, the upper portion is releasably attached to the lower portion, and the lower portion anchors to the mattress in a compression fit. In embodiments, the upper portion and the lower portion may be releasably attached by a zipper, which may be covered by fabric. In embodiments, each of the upper and lower portions include a short flap, which together cover the zipper when the upper and lower portions are zipped together.
Fitted Sheet Attached To Pillow Case
A consumer operated fitted sheet with a pillow case sewn into the sheet for convenient pillow insertion and removal includes a pillow cover that has an opening to insert and remove the consumers hands. A horizontal stitching from corner to corner on the top of the sheet connects both the pillow cover and the fitted sheet where pillows are placed. The pillow cover is sewn to stay in place and keep the pillows from falling out while the consumer sleeps. The bottom section of the pillow cover is sewn horizontally, it is sewn in sections because of a curved opening in the center of the stitching near the bottom of the pillow cover, to insert and remove the consumers hands. Each side of the pillow cover has a wide opening to insert and remove pillows, the wide opening enhances the process without creating tension to the all in one sheet.
Fitted Mattress Covering
A fitted mattress cover is provided, having elastic elements at each corner which hold the cover in place. A corner elastic element runs along each corner seam, and is attached to the center of a diagonal elastic element. The diagonal elastic acts a lock system to prevent movement of the fitted sheet during any pull from the top of the fitted sheet. The corner elastic helps to hold the corner of the cover to the mattress, and also prevents peaking of the corner seam, leading to an improved appearance and helps to fit mattresses of different thickness. Elbow elastics at the corners, perpendicular to the corner elastics, hold the side panels tightly to the mattress and inhibit them from sliding upwards.
Apparatuses and methods for placing a covering about a mattress
An apparatus and method for manipulating a covering such as a bed sheet are provided. The apparatus, in one form, includes a proximal grip portion and a distal covering engaging portion including a plurality of spaced-apart protrusions for engaging with corresponding spaced-apart openings in the covering. The apparatus includes end stop portions adjacent to the protrusions for limiting how far the protrusions may extend through the openings in the covering. A tool receiving portion of the covering may take the form of a pocket or spaced-apart openings that are located in at least one corner portion of the cover. The installation tool engages with the openings in the covering to manipulate the cover and reduces the need to bend over or crouch down to reach around or underneath the mattress when placing the sheet about the mattress.
Infant sleeping bag, blanket and sheet
An apparatus for improved sleep made up of a mattress, and a sleep aid, on a first end of the mattress the sleep aid being a partially fitted sheet, the fitted sheet tucked into and secured onto a side of the mattress, and on a second end of the mattress the sleep aid being a blanket, the blanket attached to the fitted sheet and the blanket being large enough to be folded over an infant, the fitted sheet having hook and loop fasteners and the blanket having matable hook and loop fasteners situated on the blanket opposite the fitted sheet, such that when the blanket is folded over and the hook and loop fasteners are mated a pocket capable of containing an infant is formed.
Smart Sheets
Sewing material to form a pocket to slide mattress into with the top sheet attached along back side of the pocket material.
No Popping-off and No Bunching-up Simple Bedding System
A bedding system termed No Hassle Bedding System is disclosed to solve the issues of mattress pad and/or fitted/bottom sheet popping off a mattress, lifting mattress to put on a mattress pad and/or fitted/bottom sheet, and flat/top sheet bunching up in a simple and economical way. The system consists of a strap system that is built-in on a mattress or in a mattress-free form, matching flat mattress pad and flat bottom sheet that can be secured onto a mattress, a flat/top sheet with built-in ribbons and a blanket/comforter/duvet/quilt/etc with built-in loops so that they can be assembled and disassembled easily.
Flat sheet providing fitted mattress engagement
A flat bottom sheet is provided which is adapted for engagement to an underlying mattress. A plurality of biasing bands are configured to provide a biased engagement of four corners of the bottom sheet to four corners of the mattress and concurrently biasly hold side portions taught against the sides of the mattress. A top sheet may be included which is engaged to the bottom sheet and allows for concurrent engagement of both a top and bottom sheet to a mattress to which they are sized to engage.
RECONFIGURABLE COMBINATION SOLID AND PATTERNED BEDDING SYSTEMS AND MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
The present invention provides reconfigurable bedding systems generally including one or more bedding components such as a duvet, duvet cover, comforter, quilt, pillow shams, or sheets such as a fitted sheet, at least one flat sheet, and a plurality of pillow cases. According to some example embodiments, each component of the bedding system is manufactured so that half of the component is a uniform color, a solid portion, and the other half includes a pattern, a patterned portion. The components can be arranged in a variety of layouts with either the solid portion or pattern portion of each component visible.
