FITTED SHEET HAVING UTILITY POCKETS
Some implementations can include a fitted bed sheet having a sheet body and a plurality of utility pockets permanently attached to an exterior surface of the sheet body. The plurality of utility pockets can be arranged to be symmetrical across both a lengthwise axis and a widthwise axis of the sheet body. The plurality of utility pockets and the sheet body can form a single integrated unit. The plurality of utility pockets can also be configured to be not removable from the sheet body.
Cover Guard Device
The present invention relates to a novel pocket blanket device. The device is an improved blanket having an elastic pocket that can be placed over the bottom of a mattress to secure a blanket directly to the mattress. The device comprises a body component comprising a single body of material with an elastic pocket positioned along a bottom edge to be placed over the bottom of a mattress. The elastic pocket maintains the blanket in a secure position without worry of it being pulled too far to one side or pulled off the bed entirely. The blanket device also comprises multiple split sides which flare out or extend past the pocket which allows the blanket to lay flat and square on a bed in addition to providing extra blanket coverage for the users.
Hybrid Sheet Device
The present invention relates to a novel hybrid sheet device. The device is a modified bed sheet attached to one side of a mattress to assure a symmetrically made bed every time. The device comprises a body component comprising a single body of material with a pocket positioned along a bottom edge to be placed over the bottom of a mattress. The pocket maintains the sheet in a secure position without worry of it being pulled too far to one side or pulled off the bed entirely. Further, the hybrid sheet device also comprises a marking component, such as a dot, printed on opposing ends of the upper end of the sheet device. Users can align the sheet device with the corners of the mattress via the two dots. Thus, users can easily make their bed each day with minimal effort required.
Cushion cover with integrally knit, high-relief graphic feature and cushions employing such cushion covers
A cushion cover includes a one-piece knit fabric configured to at least partially surround a cushion, the cover including at least one graphic feature protruding from an associated surrounding area of the one-piece knit fabric. The at least one graphic feature is integrally knitted in the one-piece knit fabric and has a thickness at least about 2 times the thickness of the associated surrounding area of the one-piece knit fabric.
Bed-Based Patient Care Apparatus
A fitted bottom sheet (which may be comprised of low-friction material if desired) can include at least one tube-receiving hole formed therethrough. By one approach the corners of the fitted bottom sheet can include a strap to help retain the fitted bottom sheet on a mattress. By one approach the aforementioned tube-receiving hole can be formed at each corner of the fitted bottom sheet. A strapless repositioning sheet can have a low-friction mattress-facing side in combination with webbing disposed along and attached to at least two side edges of the strapless repositioning sheet to thereby form a plurality of handhold openings and a plurality of strap-connection openings.
MATTRESS COVER ASSEMBLY
A mattress cover assembly includes a panel that is comprised of cloth material and has top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge. The perimeter edge includes a first end edge, a second end edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The top side has an opening therein to allow a housing to be extended through the panel. An outer perimeter wall of cloth material is coextensively attached to and extends downwardly from the perimeter edge. The panel and outer perimeter wall form a covering that is positionable on a mattress such that the opening exposes a well in the mattress.
Sanctuary Bed Bug Barrier
The invention comprises a plurality of components, each of which impedes or prevents intrusion by bed bugs onto a bed or kill them upon contact. A fitted sheet, impenetrable to bed bugs is removeably attached to a slippery skirt, which is too smooth for a bed bug to climb. Together, these inhibit bed bugs from climbing to the top of the bed from the floor or through the mattress. Zippers to attach the fitted sheet and slippery skirt are designed to prevent small gaps. Headboard and footboard attachments of a slippery skirt design further prevent incursion and form passive traps for encroaching bed bugs. A pesticide infused second skirt attached to the slippery skirt around the bed springs actively kills bed bugs which contact it, reducing the number of bed bugs living in an infested mattress. All parts except the slippery skirts and pesticidal skirt may be washed or heated in a conventional dryer, killing invasive bed bugs, thereby permitting extended use, reuse and higher effectiveness of the invention.
Apparatuses and methods for placing a covering about a mattress
An apparatus and method for manipulating a covering such as a bed sheet are provided. The apparatus, in one form, includes a proximal grip portion and a distal covering engaging portion including a plurality of spaced-apart protrusions for engaging with corresponding spaced-apart openings in the covering. The apparatus includes end stop portions adjacent to the protrusions for limiting how far the protrusions may extend through the openings in the covering. A tool receiving portion of the covering may take the form of a pocket or spaced-apart openings that are located in at least one corner portion of the cover. The installation tool engages with the openings in the covering to manipulate the cover and reduces the need to bend over or crouch down to reach around or underneath the mattress when placing the sheet about the mattress.
Fabric cover
Fabric covers are presented including: a top fabric panel; a bottom fabric panel having substantially equivalent dimensions as the top fabric panel, where the bottom fabric panel and the top fabric define a space for receiving a cushion; a full-width opening disposed along an end of the fabric cover; and a partial opening disposed along an opposite end of the fabric cover. In some embodiments, the partial opening further includes: a first internal flap extending from the opposite end of the fabric cover toward the end and coupled with one of the top fabric panel or the bottom fabric panel substantially perpendicular with the partial opening; and a second internal flap extending from the opposite end of the fabric cover toward the end and coupled with the first internal flap substantially perpendicular with the partial opening.
Fitted sheet constructs and methods of making the same
A fitted sheet (800) includes a first side margin (106) and the second side margin (107) folded about a first fold line (104) and a second fold line (105), respectively, toward a central panel (108) such that sides of the first side margin and the second side margin are separated by a separation (208). A first edge (209) and a second edge (211) occur where the first side margin and the central panel abut, while a third edge (210) and a fourth edge (212) occur where the second side margin and the central panel abut. The first edge includes a first seam (405), while the second edge includes a second seam (406). The third edge includes a third seam (407), while the fourth edge includes a fourth seam (408). Each seam is applied by a different sewing operation. At least two seams are different in color.
