A multifunctional wine glass includes a glass body, a glass stem, a glass base connecting seat, and a glass base. The glass body has a glass body connecting seat on one end thereof. The glass stem has one end movably connected with the glass body connecting seat. A beverage dispensing system for a vehicle includes a beverage dispenser and a drinking vessel. The beverage dispenser includes a nozzle having an upwardly directed nozzle tube for dispensing a beverage liquid. The drinking vessel is connectable to the nozzle tube and is fillable with the beverage liquid from a bottom side of the drinking vessel. The drinking vessel may be a cylindrical or truncated conical mug in which the central section of its bottom side is curved into the drinking vessel interior to form the hollow dome.

A beverage container includes a transparent cylindrical acrylic body sized to fit into a cup-holder of a vehicle, a transparent skin sized to encase a portion of an outer surface of the body, a transparent handle, a transparent lid sized to seal a chamber defined by the body, a transparent latch, and a transparent rubber or plastic cover sized to be placed onto the lid. In a general aspect, a multi-piece vessel can include a body defining an interior volume, and a base. The body can include a closed end, and an open end opposite the closed end. The base can have a foot arranged in a plane. The base can include a stem arranged along a longitudinal axis that is orthogonal to the plane, and a first magnetic element disposed at an end of the stem. The multi-piece vessel can also include an attachment assembly coupled with the closed end of the body, the attachment assembly having a second magnetic element configured to form a magnetic coupling with the first magnetic element, and a retention feature defined on a surface of the attachment assembly distal from the body.

A lid for a beverage container may include an upper rim and a lower rim, an upper surface extending between the upper rim, a lid sidewall extending between the lower rim and the upper rim, a fitting including a resiliently compressible material positioned along the sidewall to sealingly engage with an inner surface of a sidewall of a vessel, a grip dimensioned to be grasped by a user to manipulate a position of the lid, and a nozzle extending from the upper surface of the lid.

Provided are ceramic compositions and containers, in each case comprising a ceramic (e.g., porcelain, stoneware, porcelain, or ceramic composition having properties of both) composition to which an amount of alumina has been added to provide a ceramic composition comprising 20% to 25% (wt./wt.) alumina, preferably about 22% (wt./wt.) alumina, providing a stronger material, such that wall thicknesses (e.g., of double-walled beverage containers) can be reduced or minimized to create a lighter double-walled ceramic container. The disclosed containers have a chemical and porous structure suitable for a wide array of stoneware glazes, and display water absorption rate properties comparable to stoneware. Methods of making same are provided.
