A container assembly includes a container, e.g., configured for containing a beverage, where the container has a connecting structure, and a carrier assembly that includes a carrier having an engagement structure configured for releasable connection to the connecting structure of the beverage container to releasably connect the beverage container to the carrier assembly. The carrier assembly also includes a chip engaged with the carrier such that the chip is carried by the carrier, where the chip stores electronic payment information and is configured for transmitting the electronic payment information to an external computer for authorizing payment.

A food and beverage retaining assembly having in combination a serving plate and a removable, stemmed beverage receptacle, wherein the beverage receptacle is mechanically interlocked with the serving plate. The serving plate comprises a post, and the beverage receptacle comprises a post socket, the mating of which provides lateral stability to the beverage receptacle when in an unlocked position.

A beverage container includes a transparent cylindrical acrylic body sized to fit into a cup-holder of a vehicle, a transparent skin sized to encase a portion of an outer surface of the body, a transparent handle, a transparent lid sized to seal a chamber defined by the body, a transparent latch, and a transparent rubber or plastic cover sized to be placed onto the lid. The container is scannable by an x-ray machine or a metal detector for inspecting the container and the a beverage in the chamber, and permits a visual inspection of the liquid through the container. The latch permits the beverage to exit the lid through an orifice for the beverage to be consumed when the latch is open configuration. The orifice is sized to permit a straw to be inserted through the orifice to consume the beverage.

A container having fluid container inner body positioned within an outer body having a lower end wall with an aperture. An interior chamber is formed between sidewalls of the inner and outer bodies. A flexible and resilient stopper removably positionable in the aperture in fluid-tight sealing engagement with the end wall. A stiffening member is removably positionable within a cavity of the stopper after the stopper is positioned in the aperture to provide rigidity to the stopper to resist bending of the stopper and thereby resists unintentional dislodgement of the stopper from the aperture without first removing the stiffening member from the stopper.

A container has a removable base assembly. The base assembly has a resilient portion. The base assembly is removably attachable to the container in a recess of the container. The base assembly being dimensioned to have a fixed fit with the recess such that when the base assembly is assembled with the container, the resilient portion is exposed from the recess allowing the container to be supported on a support surface by the resilient portion of the base assembly.

The present invention provides an improved container assembly where a container or vessel with nodules is inserted into a non-slip base, such as a hockey puck, with a recess having channels to create a locking system of a container into a hockey puck made from vulcanized rubber to create a non-slip reaction when placed on a hard surface. Further, the container assembly acts as a coaster to prevent staining and the inherent weight and width of the non-slip base creates optimal stability to said container or vessel.

A container has a removable base assembly. The base assembly has a resilient portion. The base assembly is removably attachable to the container in a recess of the container. The base assembly being dimensioned to have a fixed fit with the recess such that when the base assembly is assembled with the container, the resilient portion is exposed from the recess allowing the container to be supported on a support surface by the resilient portion of the base assembly.

A container assembly includes a container, e.g., configured for containing a beverage, where the container has a connecting structure, and a carrier assembly that includes a carrier having engagement structure configured for releasable connection to the connecting structure of the beverage container to releasably connect the beverage container to the carrier assembly. The carrier assembly also includes a chip engaged with the carrier such that the chip is carried by the carrier, where the chip stores electronic payment information and is configured for transmitting the electronic payment information to an external computer for authorizing payment.

Different liquid containing vessels with integrated coasters are provided. The liquid containing vessels have an upper portion, channel, base, and integrated coaster. The upper portion retains some amount of liquid. The channel is disposed beneath the upper portion and above the above the base. The channel is formed from a central stem connecting the upper portion to the base and a cavity that surrounds the stem for some radius that is less than a radius of the upper portion or base. Disposed in the channel is the integrated coaster. The integrated coaster is a trapping element that in some embodiments is a solid porous ring of an adsorptive or absorptive material. Condensation forming about the outer surface of the upper portion drips downwards towards the channel. The channel redirects the condensation to the trapping element where it is removed by the adsorptive or absorptive materials.

A convertible beverage container includes a first pod portion, a second pod portion, and at least one seal. The first and second pod portions are configured to alternately form (a) a pod configuration in which a base element at a base end of the first pod portion is fixably attached to an open orifice at a drinking end of the second pod portion with the at least one seal disposed between the first and second pod portions to form a seal therebetween and (b) a stemware configuration in which an attachment element at an attachment end of the first pod portion is fixably attached to an attachment region of the second pod portion to form a stemware drinking vessel having a foot, a stem, and a bowl in which the first pod portion forms the foot and stem of the stemware drinking vessel and the second pod portion forms the bowl of the stemware drinking vessel.
