Venturi air flow sensor and control system
A Venturi air flow sensor and control system includes a Venturi housing comprising with an inlet section, an outlet section, and a reduced diameter horn shaped center section connecting the inlet section to the outlet section with a damper. A high pressure sensor tube with downstream openings extends across the inlet section on the outlet section and a low pressure sensor tube with downstream openings extends across the reduced diameter horn shaped section. The pressure from the low pressure sensor tube and the pressure from the high pressure sensor tube are connected to a controller. From the high pressure and the low pressure the controller determines the air flow and based on air flow operates the damper.
Flow-controlling unit provided in flow channel
A flow-controlling unit provided in a flow channel is disclosed. The flow-controlling unit provided in a flow channel, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a plate which is disposed perpendicular to the moving direction of a fluid in a flow channel, and on which are formed multiple fluid through-holes through, which the fluid passes; and one or more flow-controlling pieces which are provided in a position corresponding to the fluid through-holes, form an inclination with respect to the plate in the direction of the inflow of the fluid, are capable of tilting on the plate, and control the degree of opening of the fluid through-holes by being tilted due to pressure applied from hydraulic pressure of the fluid.
Miniaturized fluid flow regulating device
The invention relates to a miniaturised fluid flow regulating device comprising a fluid flow channel with an inlet portion, an outlet portion and a flow regulation passage between the inlet portion and the outlet portion, an elongated beam element arranged in the flow channel, such that a pressure difference over the inlet portion and the outlet portion causes the beam element to bend and regulate fluid flow in the flow regulation passage. The invention further relates to a breath analysis device comprising such a flow regulating device for regulating a flow of exhaled breath.
Airflow Balancing Valve for HVAC Systems
An automatic airflow balancing valve (10), including: a housing (12) having an inlet (14) and an outlet (16) and defining a flow path (18) there through; a valve disc (30) operatively connected to the housing and disposed within the flow path; and an airflow volume calibrating assembly (92) disposed in the flow path and operatively connected to the valve disc and the housing to pivot the valve disc to a home position associated with a desired constant airflow volume. The airflow volume calibrating assembly includes an adjustment element that extends toward at least one of the inlet or the outlet.

Hydraulic pump assembly
A hydraulic pump assembly comprises a rotatable piston drum (20) with at least one centrifugal lever (23) pivotally attached thereto for radial movements between radial flanges (20) under the action of centrifugal force at rotation of the piston drum. The centrifugal lever (23) is arranged to control the position of a valve member, preferably a ball (22), at the opening end of a bore (21) in the piston drum (20). There is a defined friction surface (28; 32) between the lever (23) and one of the radial flanges (20), and there are spring means (29-31; 25, 33) for resiliently biasing the lever against said one of the flanges.
VENTILATION FLOW RATE REGULATOR FOR A PRESSURISED TANK OF A VEHICLE
A ventilation flow rate regulator for a pressurised tank of a vehicle. The regulator includes a body including a gas inlet and a gas outlet, and at least one restrictor mounted movably relative to the body. The restrictor is mounted to reduce a cross-section of at least one path of a gas flow proceeding from the inlet to the outlet, when a flow rate at the inlet is greater than a predetermined threshold. The regulator is arranged so that the cross-section remains non-zero irrespective of a flow rate.
