Low resistance flow regulator
The present teachings provide for a flow restrictor for a coolant line of an internal combustion engine coolant system. The flow restrictor can include a restrictor element and a biasing member. The restrictor element can include a restrictor plate and a tab non-rotatably coupled at an angle. The biasing member can rotationally bias the restricting element to a first position where the restricting plate is substantially parallel to the flow of fluid. The tab can be configured to create a torque on the restricting element to overcome the biasing member and rotate the restricting plate to block a portion of the fluid flow path when the flow exceeds a predetermined flow rate.
Closed Concentrated Dry Chemical Dispersion System and Method
A closed concentrated dry chemical dispersion system including a closed ingredient container having a volume of dry ingredient therein. The system provides a fluid container and a mixing chamber in which the dry ingredient and fluid can be mixed to form a formulation for delivery to a device such as agrochemical dispensing equipment. The system minimizes worker exposure to the chemicals and enables lower packaging and transportation costs.
Device for regulating the air flow in a pipe
This device (D) for regulating the air flow in a pipe includes a flap (6) delimiting, relative to an inner surface (104) of a pipe (10) of the device (D), an air passage section (S), and an adjusting calibrating element (8) movable between a first position and a second position. The device includes a sealing wall (12), extending between the calibrating element and an inner surface (106) of the duct (10), suitable for preventing the passage of air from the side of the duct (10) opposite the air passage section (S). The sealing wall (12) is rotatable relative to the pipe (10) under the action of the movement of the calibrating element, and the calibrating element includes a front wall (86) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X-X) of the duct (10) which, in the first position of the calibrating element, does not protrude past the circumference of the duct.
Intelligent dynamic air baffle
A dynamic air baffle comprises: spaced-apart first and second plates configured to be positioned adjacent to at least one heat source to be cooled by an airflow; a heat insulator sandwiched between the first and second plates; and an air flap coupled to the first and second plates and extending into the airflow; wherein the first and second plates are configured such that a differential temperature between the first and second plates causes a differential expansion in lengths of the first and second plates, which rotates the air flap from a rest position, corresponding to when the differential temperature is zero, to a rotated position that is closer to a cooler plate and farther from a hotter plate of the first and second plates, such that the air flap directs more of the airflow to the hotter plate and less of the airflow to the cooler plate.
Flapper check valve bumper
A check valve includes a housing, a flap, a hinge, at least one post, and at least one tubular bumper. The hinge allows the flap to rotate relative to the housing between a fully open position and a closed position. The at least one post is disposed at or near the periphery of the housing supporting the hinge and extending axially relative to the housing from the housing. The at least one tubular bumper is movable with the flap and configured to contact the at least one post when the flap pivots to the fully open position.
FLOW-CONTROLLING UNIT PROVIDED IN FLOW CHANNEL
A flow-controlling unit provided in a flow channel is disclosed. The flow-controlling unit provided in a flow channel, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a plate which is disposed perpendicular to the moving direction of a fluid in a flow channel, and on which are formed multiple fluid through-holes through, which the fluid passes; and one or more flow-control ling pieces which are provided in a position corresponding to the fluid through-holes, form an inclination with respect to the plate in the direction of the inflow of the fluid, are capable of tilting on the plate, and control the degree of opening of the fluid through-holes by being tilted due to pressure applied from hydraulic pressure of the fluid.
