Image recommendations for thumbnails for online media items based on user activity

A method includes identifying user activity data of a plurality of users for a first online media item. The user activity data includes a drop-off rate and a consumption rate for the first online media item. The first online media item has a first thumbnail representing the first online media item. The method further includes determining, based on at least one of the drop-off rate or the consumption rate of the first online media item, that a new thumbnail is to be recommended to replace the first thumbnail for the first online media item, selecting the new thumbnail from a plurality of candidate thumbnails, and sending a recommendation of the new thumbnail for the first online media item to a client device of a user associated with the first online media item.

Compositing aware digital image search

Compositing aware digital image search techniques and systems are described that leverage machine learning. In one example, a compositing aware image search system employs a two-stream convolutional neural network (CNN) to jointly learn feature embeddings from foreground digital images that capture a foreground object and background digital images that capture a background scene. In order to train models of the convolutional neural networks, triplets of training digital images are used. Each triplet may include a positive foreground digital image and a positive background digital image taken from the same digital image. The triplet also contains a negative foreground or background digital image that is dissimilar to the positive foreground or background digital image that is also included as part of the triplet.

The projection mode switching module is configured to sense a rotation angle of the image projection module with respect to the illumination module. A brightness value of the illumination module and an image frame of the image projection module are adjusted according to the rotation angle.

Systems and methods for augmenting and sharing data from audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices are provided. In one embodiment, a method may include receiving, from an A/V recording and communication device, image data representing an image, analyzing the image data to determine one or more objects depicted by the image data, based on the analyzing the image data, determining at least one comment associated with the one or more objects; transmitting, to a first client device associated with the A/V recording and communication device, the image data representing the image and the at least one comment, receiving, from the first client device, consent for sharing the image data with a geographic area network, the consent indicating a selection of a comment from the at least one comment, and transmitting, to a second client device, the image data representing the image and the comment.

Database image matching using machine learning with output estimation

The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer readable media for processing an image including a vehicle using machine learning. The systems can include determining a location of the client device. The systems can further include receiving a first image of a vehicle from an image sensor of the client device and matching, using machine learning, the first image to one or more images of vehicles in a vehicle database to identify the vehicle. The vehicle database can list vehicles located at the determined location of the client device and images of the vehicles. The systems can include retrieving vehicle information from the vehicle database, based on the identified vehicle, and obtaining comparison information based at least in part on the vehicle information. The systems can include estimating a quote for the vehicle based on the comparison information and transmitting the estimated quote for display on the client device.

Improved systems and devices for pre-caching of related medical imaging are provided. A medical imaging order may be received from a medical facility that includes medical imaging of a site generated by a medical imaging device. The medical imaging order may include metadata, such as user data, site data, and modality data. A search may be executed for supplemental medical imaging of the user using the user data. The supplemental medical imaging may be filtered using the site data to return only that medical imaging related to the site. The filtered supplemental medical imaging may be prioritized using the modality data. The prioritized supplemental medical imaging may be appended to the request, and the request may be transmitted to a radiologist for generation of a medical imaging report.
