Methods, systems, and storage media are provided for accessibility services to assist users with disabilities in using touch-based interfaces and graphical user interfaces (GUIs). A client system generates and renders a GUI of a client application that comprises one or more graphical objects. The client system operates a service to identify graphical objects that refer or link to advertisements or other third party resources. The service applies a protective measure to the identified graphical objects, which prevent user inputs (e.g., “taps”) from being accepted by the client system. The protective measure may include a distinguishing effect to visually distinguish the protective measure from other graphical objects in the GUI. The user may remove the protective measure by performing a predefined gesture. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

The control display method enables a user to better observe the virtual character that would have been blocked by the control, and dynamic changes of the transparency of the control is more likely to attract the user's attention, so that the user does not miss important information.

The user input confirmation unit confirms user input information based on a user input that is provided as a touch input through the display device. The editing UI processing unit confirms a main editing input value based on the user input information provided by the user input confirmation unit, sets a detailed adjustment input value of the detailed adjustment UI by considering the confirmed main editing input value, and processes an input of the detailed adjustment UI based on the set detailed adjustment input value.

Techniques are described for trace layer for replicating a source region of a digital image. In an implementation, a user leverages a content editing system to select a source region of a source image to be replicated and a target region of a target image to which portions of the source region are to be replicated. A trace layer is generated that is a visual representation of portions of the source region, and the trace layer is positioned on the target region of the target image. Further, the trace layer is generated based on a visibility factor such that the trace layer is at least partially transparent. The trace layer receives user interaction to select portions of the trace layer and visibility of the selected portions is modified to replicate corresponding portions of the source region to the target region.

When a two-dimensional directional command has been issued on the controller by the operator, the display apparatus shifts into a second operation state in which the display position of the pointer is shifted based on two coordinate axes in the display area according to the directional command issued on the controller. In the second operation state, the two coordinate axes are varied according to the tilt of the external control apparatus.
