Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for updating directions to a container. In one embodiment an apparatus for updating directions to a container comprises a container housing, a movement sensor attached to the container housing, a wireless transceiver; and a control circuit coupled to the movement sensor and the wireless transceiver. The control circuit being configured to: detect a relocation of the container housing via the movement sensor, determine an estimated new location of the container, and send, via the wireless transceiver, the estimated new location to a computing device to initiate an update of a direction to the container.

A container appliance for secure receiving and storing of delivered items at a residence of a final recipient may include a storage compartment, securing mechanism, thermal conditioning system and appliance management module configured to control the securing mechanism to provide authorized delivery events and to control the thermal conditioning system to establish a temperature in a thermal conditioned region.

A package securement device includes a containment device in the form of either a bag or a box for receiving packages. The containment device includes an opening allowing for removal and insertion of packages. Access may be given to the interior of the containment device through an electronic device with a credential receiver configured to receive a credential input by a user. A communication module with a wireless transmitter connected to the electronic device transmits and receive a wireless communication regarding a status of the containment bag. A remote user interface may be used to monitor and control access to the containment device.

A parcel delivery locker has a body portion formed by four panels that are joined to each other along hinge joints at their vertical edges. The hinges joints allow the body portion to be alternatively configured into a stack for shipping, or as a box for use in receiving and containing parcels. A lid is joined to the body portion during assembly and has an electronically controlled locking mechanism that can be wirelessly controlled to lock or unlock. A floor portion is coupled to the four panels as well.

The present invention discloses a logistics rack and an application method thereof. This invention involves a novel method, device, system and apparatus to receive return or exchange goods and services at one's doorstep securely. The invention involves a novel security apparatus and a parcel receptacle. The security apparatus is connectable to any fixture, including to one or more parcel receptacles. The parcel receptacles can be of many types. The parcel receptacles can be secured via a physical cable and a security apparatus, or secured via connectivity to the wireless network of a parcel recipient. The parcel receptacles can also be secured via a novel GPS module, accelerometer and other technological devices inside parcel receptacle. The locking mechanism in the security apparatus and/or on the parcel receptacle can be of technological in nature using the latest advancements in wireless technology, or alternatively, involve simple physical lock and key mechanisms. The apparatus allows access to parcels to authenticated users only, and involve many safety features including an audible alarm and other tamper-proof mechanisms to ensure safety of parcels.

Disclosed is a lockable security receptacle for the safe temporary storage of delivered articles to a home or office. The receptacle comprises of a bag having single opening through which the articles can be placed, a lock to secure the articles within the bag, means to securely but removably attach the bag to the inside of the home or office door and a cable connecting the bag to the attachment means. The bag can comprise a water-resistant, ballistic grade fabric of interwoven conductive fibers for protection and security of the delivered article, and can be made with one or more alarms that are triggered if the bag is cut, if the bag is pulled or if the attachment means is pulled.

The disclosure includes embodiments for providing secure package delivery for a vehicle. In some embodiments, a method includes receiving, by a Dedicated Short Range Communication radio (a DSRC radio) of a vehicle, a DSRC message. In some embodiments, the method includes unlocking a trunk of the DSRC-equipped vehicle responsive to receiving the DSRC message by the DSRC radio.

An example collapsible secured parcel drop box is disclosed and includes a plurality of side panels defining an interior space, a back panel secured to the side panels, a lid movable between open and closed positions over the interior space and a lock assembly disposed on the lid for locking the lid in position to prevent opening of the lid. The disclosed example drop box also includes a bracket temporarily securing the parcel drop box to a fixed structure and an anti-rotation bracket to maintain a fixed position of the drop box relative to the fixed structure. The drop box collapsible for storage and removable from the door when not required.
