CONTROLLING METHOD OF A MEMORY CARD
According to one embodiment, a memory system includes a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device, controller, memory, wireless communication function section, and extension register. The controller controls the nonvolatile semiconductor memory device. The memory is serving as a work area of the controller. The wireless communication module has a wireless communication function. The extension register is provided in the memory. The controller processes a first command to read data from the extension register, and a second command to write data to the extension register. The extension register records, an information specifying the type of the wireless communication function in a specific page, and an address information indicating a region on the extension register to which the wireless communication function is assigned.
Video conference system
A video conference system including a transmitter device, a first receiver device and a second receiver device is provided. The transmitter device includes a transmitter control unit, a first network interface and a first wireless transmission module. The first receiver device includes a second wireless transmission module, a first receiver input interface and a first receiver video circuit. The second receiver device includes a second network interface and a second receiver video circuit. The first receiver video circuit combines the first video data and the second video data as a first combined video data. The first receiver video circuit transmits the first combined video data to a first display device, and outputs the first combined video data to the transmitter device, which outputs the first combined video data to the second receiver device through the first network interface and the second network interface.
INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DEVICE STORING PROTECTED DATA FOR WIRELESS TRANSMITTING, OVER SHORT RANGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION, THE PROTECTED DATA TO A WIRELESS COMPUTING DEVICE
An integrated circuit device that includes a secure or protected memory component is herein disclosed and enabled. The integrated circuit may be a wireless communication device or a smart card or an USB device. Additionally, the integrated circuit may be part of, or in, a computing device or mobile device. The integrated circuit device includes a protected memory section for storing protected data that is not accessible by a user at the protected memory section, but is accessible by a memory controller included in the integrated circuit device. The memory controller accesses the protected data with a combination of security operations that may include cryptography. The integrated circuit device may further include a wireless component for establishing a wireless connection with wireless computing devices or readers for wirelessly transmitting the protected data accessed by the memory controller to the wireless computing devices or the readers.
MIXDTAPE - CASSETTE TAPE REPLICA RECORD/PLAYBACK DEVICE
A replica cassette tape mobile record/playback device includes a non-volatile memory device positioned, one or more processors, a rechargeable battery, and a personal area network transceiver chipset all positioned within the interior of the replica cassette tape device. The replica cassette device also includes one or more indicator lights, positioned at an edge of the replica cassette tape device, to identify a status of the replica cassette tape device. The replica cassette tape devise also includes computer-readable instructions stored in the non-volatile memory device, the computer-readable instructions executable by the one or more processors to: pair the replica cassette tape device with an external sound reproduction device utilizing the personal area network transceiver chipset; and communicate one or more audio files stored in the non-volatile memory device to the external sound reproduction device utilizing the personal area network transceiver chipset.
Scheme for automatically controlling dongle device and/or electronic device to enter waiting state of device pairing in which the dongle device and the electronic device exchange/share pairing information
A method for controlling a dongle device to enter a waiting state of device pairing to perform automatic device pairing includes: commanding the dongle device to enter the waiting state when the dongle device is powered up, the dongle device having a storage circuit which is used for storing specific information of at least one electronic device that has been paired with the dongle device; checking the storage circuit of the dongle device; and transmitting a pairing request from the dongle device to the electronic device according to a result of checking the storage circuit.
Node in a telecommunications network, a virtual network element and methods for retrieving resource identification information
A method and a virtual network element of a virtual telecommunications network comprising a cloud infrastructure. The cloud infrastructure comprises a hypervisor arrangement managed by a cloud manager for allocating physical resources to the virtual network element. The virtual network element further comprises a module that retrieves from the hypervisor manager or from the hypervisor arrangement resource identification information identifying the physical resources (HW; NW; disk) allocated to the virtual network element managing service application.

Adapter devices for enhancing the functionality of other devices
An adapter may facilitate easy and swift data transfer amongst two previously incompatible electronic devices. Such an adapter may be operative to communicate data with a first of the two electronic devices using a contactless communication link and a first communication protocol and to communicate data with a second of the two electronic devices using a mechanical communication link and/or using a second communication protocol that is different than the first communication protocol, such that data may be transferred between the first and second electronic devices via the adapter. The adapter may be communicatively coupled to both the first electronic device and the second electronic device at the same time. The adapter may rapidly transition between communicating data with the first device and communicating data with the second device (e.g., without altering a physical connection between the adapter and one of the first and second devices during such a transition).
